That sails out of Brielle. I was on it earlier this summer. They serve a brunch and have a bar. It's a nice thing but I would say geared more toward people over 40. That said, I'm sure the guys all had a nice time and it was generous of that Alum to pay for it.
This is now professional basketball, there is no need for these excursions, let them do it on their own if they want to hang out.
Very generous of a former player and dedicated alum to make this experience happen for our team. Thank you Mike MacDonald - you've been through a lot and you've done so much for RU basketball. Above and beyond...
Ha, a couple years ago we went to a fundraiser on board, minute we all get there a huge storm comes and the entire event had to take place on the boat. Luckily the Brielle crowd can usually turn anything into a great time.
So don't provide an avenue for/encourage team bonding and opportunities to open up relationships with RU alumni (WHO ARE DONORS!!!)??? Your statement makes very little sense.
