Last night was the best best example of "That's Baseball."
Two of the most amazing college pitching performances that don't show up as wins or losses.
A homerun by their guy that could have been caught for an out but wasn't.
Their same guy makes a great play and put out for out number 2 in the ninth that keeps our guys from tying the game.
Then our guy (Connor Hujsak), who could have caught their guy's homerun but didn't, who's been out of the line up for weeks, plays his first game back -- 0-3 at the plate looking totally outmatched -- destroys the first pitch for a 17nmissle home run to win the game.
So many great moments in that game. Great emotion! Would have been fun to watch any two teams square off in a game like that.
And again we beat OM.
