THAT'S why I think Cohen doesn't always start Norris

If you make an error there, it needs to at least be one that doesn't let the ball get through the infield.

That's my only knock on him. I like him for his bat, but a ball that gets through on the line like that will cost you. I'm a bit more lenient on an error like Detz made that stayed in front of him.

I'm being more hypothetical- it's not the first time I've seen one get through this year. Harsh, but that's a big mistake.

And.. that would have been a harsh error and he probably wouldn't have had a decent play other than to keep it from getting through, but we get some very generous scoring at home as well. VERY. I wouldn't judge an error by what our scorers think.

Doesn't matter. Maybe not in the stat book, but it still shows why he is not our everyday 3B. Glove is very suspect. You have to get a glove on it at least.

In my opinion, Detz and Frost aren't better, and Frost struggles to throw it across the diamond. Norris is probably our best option.

I would at least like to see Detz at 3rd in a game like tonight, so we could see what he could do. Throwing him in the fire against LSU did him or the team no favors.

I agree on Frost's arm; it's not good enough. Saw that last year enough to not ever want to even try him there this year.

I'd give more preference to Detz until he absolutely proved me wrong. A small mistake like not keeping his eye on the ball as he went to pick it up isn't changing my mind over not having Norris there.

I disagree. In my mind, Frost's issue is mental. Kinda like Chuck Knoblauch. Norris' issue is a lack of skill. We've seen Frost throw it across the diamond fine, so we know he has the arm to do it. But I've seen Norris just not even field too many balls.
