The A&M chancellor sounds like a douche fan....

I think they`re gonna end up being a douche group. Example...stadium expansion. Their expanded stadium is going to have a capacity of 102,500 which is impressive but what bothers me is that it just happens to be 45 seats larger than Neyland thus MAKES IT THE LARGEST STADIUM IN THE SEC...a fact that I`m sure they`ll try to get mucho mileage out of. My point..... I think this is going to be kind of a precedent in that whatever anybody else in the SEC has of note aTm is always going to spend enough to out do them whether they actually need whatever it is they`re building or not. I think they`re going to be obnoxious as hell in that way.
well at least unlike tenn they didn't just go in and renumber the seats in smaller spaces to increase capacity.
A&M has about 600,000 living alumni, and 50,000 students. They are located within 3.5 hours of about 12 million people (Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin). Not to mention, they are loaded with oil money. Of course they SHOULD have the largest stadium in the SEC. But based on my living around a lot of aggies, and being married to one, they are not nearly as bad a bunch as many fellow founders of the SEC at being hard to get along with. If you want to see a bunch of obnoxious people, go to Texas. A&M is just spreading its wings after getting away from UT. Most of the A&M people I know are very "State like". They are delusional though and as much like a cult following as you will see for fans.
With those numbers you don`t find it at least a little strange that they only expanded enough to be the biggest by only 45 seats ? Why not be the biggest by 10,045 seats. Color me as unimpressed with these characters as the tea-sippers are.
