The AAC should own the Acc's P5 designation. Clearly they are the better conference this year. It would be fair to have them compete with each other for that designation.

Either that or change to a P4 situation and the ACC could become part of the G6.
ACC are considered a power 5 conference due to Florida St. and Clemson.
As long as those two schools are there, there status won't change.
However, even with 14 schools they will always been the worst of the 5 every year forever and ever.
An ACC school has to go undefeated to make the playoffs or hope everyone else loses a lot.

So every morning I alternate between college football and the football show on Sirius xm. This morning, on the first team (McElroy and Zarzour), McElroy said he thinks that top to bottom, the AAC >> ACC. I almost drove off the road in glee

AAC is not better overall BECAUSE of the void at the top. And at least Clemson over ND is something. And what is our own best win, looking back ? Northwestern over Stanford I guess ? Pretty good, but not any better than Clemson over ND
The Always Crappy Conference deserves every bit of criticism it gets. Just for throwing Notre Dame a lifeline they should be boiled in oil.
