We all share the same opinion on Blanca, she needs to put in a lot of work over the summer. Have to agree with some of the comments which would be beneficial for her to pursue this off season. Same goes for Toomey, which a lot of her problems stem from not being able to play for two years. She mentioned this is the best she has felt physically in a long time, next step is to get into the gym and get stronger.
Blanca needs to lose some weight and as some have stated needs to work on her agility and overall game to become the force which many of us expected from her coming out of HS as one of the most sort after recruits in the country.
Blanca may have gotten a bit of a recruiting bump given the recent success of previous 6-6-ish NC recruits E. Cunane and E. Kitley. Those two were all business when they stepped on the court.

The difference IMO is those two put the work in during the off season and they did not get hurt before the season started. BT future at UNC will be in her hands. If she wants to be a factor next year and be a major contributor, then she must be willing to put the work in during the off season.

I actually thought Blanca moved pretty well in limited action this year. Still room for improvement in the conditioning and agility department but I think she has the potential to be a pretty good mobile big. Where I think she really needs work is her physicality and understanding and capitalizing on her size/frame. She needs to be a bully in the post. She struggled to gain position and score over smaller defenders. Any contact and she would shoot bad shots - (leaning/fading misses or getting blocked). Also seemed to fall/ hit the groun when there was light contact & had rebounds swiped away from her. I think the weight room would help but also just needs a big shift in mentality. Nyla Harris should be the perfect teacher/example for what we need from her. Would love to see her flourish for us and think she has the tools; hope she can find it next year.

Keep in mind Blanca was injured all year. A summer of rest is what she needs. Unfortunately, rest does not help her fitness so she has a catch 22. In hindsight a redshirt year is what she needed to fully heal.

I have been thinking the exact same thing about a redshirt year. I can’t see where playing this year after/with an injury has helped her at all.

If they red shirt her than that is going to take up a scholarship which could prevent them for getting a highly 5-star freshmen. CB and the coaching staff will really have to look at this. Do we red-shirt her and it does it pan out or do we let her finish out her career and go after a highly talented freshman. We have already seen the recruits that they have lined up for the 2027 class and 2028 class. If it were me, I would wait to see what BT does not the summer. Is she willing to put the work in and get better is the question? The other question is How much better can she get? Is it worth taking a chance on a player that will be a junior or would it be best to go after a talented freshman that can get the job done. Will NB be the player to take BT's spot? These are some tough questions and decisions that have to be made. One thing that we do know is and CB has already stated this when she first got hired, she already knows that she was hired to win, bottom line. She has started this time and time again. That UNC is a very caliber job as a HC and she knows that is added pressure when she took the job. That also includes recruiting.
