Even Hofstra is ahead of us even though we are 5-0 with 3 head to head wins against them and they are 0-3 which is ridiculous. I've always thought the RPI formula puts too much weight on SOS as opposed to how a team actually performs from a win loss standpoint.

Weights are generally 3/4 who you’ve played and 1/4 your record. Theoretically if you play nothing but top 20 strength of schedule teams you could have a top 10 RPI even with a terrible record. It’s ridiculous.
