I’m a big fan. We will see what happens. I’m just sick and tired of tax and spend. We desperately need to reduce the scope of government.

I am a fan of having choices between the polarized extremes that we currently have, but I have to question the motives of Musk.

What do youu think about Mark Cuban's political views?

Seems pretty straightforward to me.

He hasn’t really changed his position at all. “The government is on an unsustainable spending path.”

He tried Doge and then Trump blew all the savings out of the water with more spending. If anything, he has been consistent.

Shouldn’t you question all the motives. I’d say 100% of the people that want to run for office are not acting in an altruistic manner. I think that’s the point. They all have agendas - Biden was ultra left, Soros style globalism. Trumps is more conservative and isolationist. Musk would most likely be more like Trump, he clearly loves the guy. They’re all motivated by a combination of vanity, greed and obsession with power.

The America Party does not have to be a national party with presidential runs to be effective.

Highly targeted races in a few districts could make them effective in centering the nation.

I don’t love it, just like it. The country is polarized, with votes coming down to a handful of votes. See build back better and the one big beautiful bill. You don’t need a lot of votes to gain some say so.

As someone who wants less government spending, I welcome the opportunity. Personally I think there are equal amounts of republicans and democrats looking for a new home.

Many MAGAs like myself don’t want the crazy spending. And many democrats don’t want the crazy social policies of the left and they don’t want communism.

I think the strategy has a chance to be effective. We will see, only time will tell.

Did you even look at the attachment? What in it do you find fault with? I did read it.

Lots of people on the left were Mark Cuban fans during the Kammy campaign. I do believe there are just as many on the left as there are on the right that would welcome a new home.

I have only recently paid attention to Cuban, but so far I agree with what he has to say

🚨 BREAKING: Elon Musk suggests his new America Party will not back a candidate for president in 2028, avoiding potential electoral disaster for Republicans in swing states.

The post from Scott Adams, shared by Musk, further predicts Musk will target specific congressmen or senators, which could give the GOP a way to "get past politics to solutions the country wants and needs, such as deficit reduction."

Do you not think Musk in appearance and actions seems like he is either on drugs or having a break down?

Honestly MAGA is the 3rd party. Elon has good intentions but I am having a hard time seeing it with the performance Trump is putting up currently.

"I'm so ashamed about what this man just did to this country with "making fun of me, and healthcare reform" that I am LITERALLY COMPELLED to leave "the Democrat party" and join a new Third Party created by a billionaire (me) throwing a tantrum over the personal grievances and a fragile ego" said DONALD TRUMP.

Fixed it for ya Growls

General Trump chimes in. I still love Elon. Let's see what he actually does here.

Last year when Elon Musk entered the political arena, I said he was over his skis and proving to be politically inept. Today, as he turns on MAGA and launches a third party which will effectively end MAGA's reign if it is successful, I STILL BELIEVE Musk is over his skis and proving to be politically inept.

MAGA, on the other hand, thought he was a political genius when he was bankrolling them and transforming X into an election propaganda arm of the Trump campaign. And now that he is calling them out on their fiscal hypocrisy, they think he is an idiot and Grok is liberal.

Some Republicans will break this MAGA fascist fever. Others never will.

While I agree the two party system is hugely counter productive to moving this country forward, I dont trust Elon any further than I could throw his a**.

I know we don't agree on much, but I agree with this. Personally, I don't have much of a problem with some of the cuts to Healthcare and the food stamps program. Especially the able bodied having to work. And by work, I mean work, volunteering, getting training, education and whatnot. EVERYONE that can needs to be pulling their own weight or getting to a point where they can.

I'm against the tax breaks across the board, including both the poor and the wealthy. We are in a big hole right now and both parties are digging it deeper every day. To get out, everyone is going to have to pay MORE than their fair share. That's just the price we have to pay for living beyond our means for decades.

I can't disagree with anything you posted, and I'm one of the peasants as some might call them. I don't make 6 figures, but I don't hate on those that do. No one that makes over 6 figures owes me a dime, and I have never asked for it.

Too many free loaders in this country. That needs to come to an end.
