So, they go from listening in on our headsets to just stranding the coaches in the elevator at halftime. They are getting a little brave on the plains.

So, the way I understand it went down ... only the elevator with the Arkansas Coaches got stuck ... Oh, I would have made a much bigger deal out of it IF I was their HC. This 'stuff' has just happened too many times.


Offensive coordinator Jim Chaney was among the coaches who were stuck in the elevator, but Bielema tried to downplay the incident when asked if it affected his game plan.

"It is what it is," he said. "We had to roll with the flow. Obviously I have coaches up in the booth who look forward to coming down here and meeting as a staff and get on the same page. We were able to communicate by phone.

"I'm not trying to make a big deal out of it. They just weren't able to get down there. I don't have the full story on it. I just know they were actually stuck."

i immediately think about when there was an issue with our headsets a few seasons ago down on the plains. hogville has an insane conspiracy thread and i cringe to sound that crazy, but its auburn....nothing would be too much for them. win at any costs. im not saying they did it, but if anybody would, it would be them.

Yeah, the headsets came to mind for me also. I remember seeing the incredulous look on Chizik's face as the refs were telling him the situation and making them remove their headsets to ensure fair play. He looked like his boys just got caught and tried to pass it off as crazy.

That game changed once that little 'advantage' got removed.

Having Alabama as your in-state rival will drive you to do those sorts of things to try to keep up.
