Tiger stadium took it, DWS came in at a close 11th.

11. Mississippi State

Scott Stadium has come light years as a structure in the last 10 years. But the Bulldogs had not been able to take advantage of their cowbells and home field in Starkville until last year.

we have to bowl in the south side of the stadium for it to ever get any real respect. I think State's and Ole Miss's is more electric on gamedays than Kentucky, but ours still has the "small" stigma because, basically, it does look small and perception is reality..

Great atmosphere, but the stadium itself is nothing special at all. Auburn's stadium is much better.

I haven't been in NC State's football stadium, but I've seen it from across the parking lot of their basketball arena (which is top notch). Their football stadium is new, fairly small, but looks nice.

Broken windows and poorly-maintained exterior, non-working escalators (with weeds growing up through them to add a touch of class). When empty, the interior looks like crap, too. But when it's full and loud, nothing rivals it. Nothing.

Auburn got 5th is a mystery to me. That stadium is a great place to watch a football game. I would put Scott Field (not Scot Stadium) above Kentucky also. Scott Field circa 1998 2000 might even crack the top 5. That's bold I know but with all of those cowbells there was reason the SEC "banned" them. We need to bowl in the stadium and but boxes in the bowl section at some point. Maybe the HD Screen we are getting will help boost our image.

Clark Nelson is a sausage gobbler. MSU has a great game day experience given the size of our school and our town. And what is up with SCOTT STADIUM?? Obviously the jerk off has no business being any kind of journalist. When our team delivers then the fans are just as rabid an any other fan of any other top 5 team on this list. After 6 years of 3-9 our fans still showed up in 2007 and our 50,000 sounded just as enthusiastic and rabid as any 90,000+ stadium.

You know, DWS really isn't a dump. It isn't very nice at all. It's definitely not modern. But, it doesn't look like it is falling apart either. Neyland looks like they added on about 32 times, which they probably did, and they weren't concerned with making it match. And it is a dump.

But, it is big. Very big.

Auburn and Georgia both have very nice staduiims. Auburn is the loudest one that I have been in. Never been to LSU.

I agree with that on Neyland. The stadium itself looks bad. I sat along the sideline in the upperdeck. It looked and felt like it was made of metal beams and fiberglass. I remember walking down the isle and thinking if I stomped the floor hard my foot may go through. The outside, in areas, look like a roller coaster with all the bare beams and supports.

Arkansas has the nicest stadium I have seen in the SEC. The facade looks like a big building. The concourses inside are spacious with plenty of bathrooms and concessions. Inside is very nice with the suites and south endzone structure. The video screen is nice. Only knock is the garage doors on the building in the north endzone.

UGA was real nice also. However, I didn't stick around to check it out as they pasted our *** in what seemed like a real quick game in 1997.

I don't care to sit in the endzone or in an upper deck in tiger stadium or Neyland stadium. I just will not.

MSU does need to make improvements in the infrastructure inside the stadium (bathrooms, concessions, etc).... but when you go watch a game inside... it is good and will get better once we get our new jumbotron and other improvements.

I like our Juction situation. Not many schools have that as close as we do to the stadium.

in a suite at Neyland.

The thing was built under an overhang, as an afterthought. The front of it was a big sheet of plexiglass. You felt like if you tripped and fell on the stairs going to the seats, you were going to fall off the earth. No private food service in the suite, either. You had to go through a buffet in a common area behind the suites. So, it's almost a quasi club level and suite rolled into one.

DWS sucks. It isn't as ugly as some stadiums. The views of the field are very good from just about every seat in the house. Our suites and club level are as nice as any in the SEC, I am told.

But, here is a good question: Is there any other SEC stadium that has cups that smell like ***?
