...my nephew was able to come sit with us for the 3rd quarter. He's in his second year up there, and we haven't seen each other in 8 years or so. Great kid. Hopefully we'll be able to have him down every once in a while.

Question. Do all students need to participate in a sport or extra curricular activity. Considering a student body of 4K found it interesting how many sports teams they have including 2 football teams (sprint team and varsity) , ice hockey, rugby, men's women's bball, baseball, softball, track and field, golf, fencing, swimming ect...

I'm like 99% sure they are required to participate in extracurricular athletics.
Everybody has to participate in an intramural, club or varsity sport at all the academies.
Additionally, every plebe--male and female--has to box. That is in addition to Military Combatives that all Mids and Cadets are required to take for combat preparation (combination of striking, jui jitsu, judo).
