Although not too intriguing just based on the helmet decal matchups and the stupid bowl game names, we’ve had really good competitive and entertaining games so far.
Shreveport, you yearn for Shreveport.I'm old enough to remember when Mississippi State played in Bowl Games. Sometimes they were fun trips to places you don't go to on a regular basis.
I didn't either really, except for tonight. Those early games didn't get much attention.I had no idea games had been played this week
Or El PasoShreveport, you yearn for Shreveport.
Scratch that. Florida just let Tulane score in the final minute of the game. 33-8 appears to be the final score with 29 seconds left.I've only watched part of one bowl - the Gasparilla Bowl.
Gatahs win handily over Tulane.
Just scored a TD with only a minute left in the game for a 33-0 lead and likely final score. Mark Rubio's son scored the TD.
First playoff game starting in about an hour in a snowy South Bend, Indiana.
I’m just glad Mississippi played Florida in November & not in September. Very different Gatah team late in the season.I've only watched part of one bowl - the Gasparilla Bowl.

Make it fun and interesting and set the annual first round locations as Jackson, Shreveport, Little Rock, and Mobile.Indiana and ND should have played in the old "Indy Bowl" in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Field.
Too dangerous for fans. **Make it fun and interesting and set the annual first round locations as Jackson, Shreveport, Little Rock, and Mobile.
The Irish always wear names on their jerseys in the post season. Goes back to the 70s when they started going to bowl games.I wasn't watching closely - did Notre Dame have LED lights?
And another thing - I don't think I've ever seen Notre Dame players having names on their uniforms before. Next thing you know they'll have something other than hash marks in the end zones.
Yeah I would have hated for our team to have to be embarrassed in any game this season**I’m just glad Mississippi played Florida in November & not in September. Very different Gatah team late in the season.
I didn't either, I knew about last night being first playoff though. No interest anymore if we're not playing, and not much even when we are. That's coming from a guy that was a Saturday couch potato from the 11:00 a.m. game till the late night West Coast game for years and years. I'm pretty much out of having any damns, fuvcks or $chit$ to give anymore thoughI had no idea games had been played this week
Concur, I'll never understand "fans" who less CFB. I say expend the bowls, let any program go to a bowl (if they can afford it). 5-7 teams can already go.Agree. I've watched everyone of them so far and will try to watch as many as I can until they are over. Needless to say I don't subscribe to the notion of reducing or eliminating them. Long 8 months without any CFB.
Completely disagree. Bowls are a leech on society and should be abolished altogether. The only neutral site game in the playoffs should be the final, just like in the NFL and the lower divisions of college.Bowl games should have been used for the playoff games. Almost no chance for a visiting team to beat a higher seeded team on their turf. Indiana and ND should have played in the old "Indy Bowl" in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Field. Nice pro stadium, indoors, cozy, and plenty of seats to divide equally between ND and the Hoosiers. This would have provided for a fair fight. Indiana would have lost to ND 10 times out of 10 in South Bend.
The Snow Bowl was great.Shreveport, you yearn for Shreveport.
Franklin goes for it on 4th and 1 on Penn St's own 20 and doesn't get it. SMU promptly throws another INT.SMU better find a running game because their QB is killing them throwing the ball.
