President Donald Trump was asked by the crew on Fox & Friends about the failed raid in Yemen that took the life of Navy SEAL William “Ryan” Owens, and the president was quick to deflect blame onto others.

When asked about criticism from Owens’s father about the failed raid, Trump pointed out that planning for the mission actually started under former President Obama.

“This was a mission that was started before I got here,” Trump said. “This was something that was, uh, you know, they wanted to do. They came to see me, they explained what they wanted to do, the generals, who are very respected. My generals are the most respected that we’ve had in many decades, I believe. And they lost Ryan.”

I listened to the interview and I don't remember him saying the Generals lost Ryan, I remember him saying we lost Ryan. He said it was very sad, like anybody should say, not blame it on some make believe video because you were too lame to get assets moving to help. 13 hours! You could scramble a bomber from Missouri and gotten to Benghazi in 13 hours. What a load of **** the liberals are.

There is zero way in hell this plan was developed, planned and approved in the short amount between it occurring and Trump being sworn in.

This plan had to be drawn up and planned long before, but Trump DID have to sign off on it.

IMHO, any loss of life is tragic, but we have to be willing to partake such missions for more hard intelligence if possible.

Cool, so the blame game for Obama not only retro's to Bush, but amazingly can be pushed beyond him to his successor. That's awesome. What exactly did Obama do? Just the good stuff? And can you list that out for me again?

The timelines are the fact:

Planning delivered to the DOD on 7 Nov
DOD delivered the plans to the JCS in Dec
JCS delivers the plans to POTUS in Jan
POTUS approves mid Jan

Trump is briefed on said plan and approves it.
