Pretty cool place back in the day. I remember we had a SixPack watch party for one of Stans's SEC tournament games. It's been closed for a while, but this is happening now.

That was a fun place at night, right before you walked over to Electric Cowboy.

Those watch parties were pretty awesome. I remember one was at robbierandolph's favorite place, Hooters.

Any word on its replacement? Hopefully, its a good mid-priced steak restaurant but I doubt the location would support that venue.

I believe Mak Haik bought it and will expand their dealership.
I heard someone say parking lot, and this makes sense. They could use it for additional parking for their vehicles. Better install a really big fence with loops of barbed wire at the top though.

Drove by there yesterday.
Got kicked out of there one Sunday many years ago. Played through the night before ended up doing goalposts beer towers all afternoon.

That's just not an area that can support any kind of decent restaurant or even a bar. Shapley's and Tico's are holding on, but I'm not going there. RIP County Line Road
Yep, that area sucks. Even the Ridgeland side sucks, but at least it starts to get better. County Line to the Trace is the transition from total shlt to decent.

Hate the the CC is stuck up in that hellhole area.

And too far away from the city center to ever see any real gentrification or betterment. JA is almost out of the decent orbit too.

It's amazing that County Line Road has gone from a country road to a shopping mecca to a decaying husk in my lifetime and I'm not 60 yet.

We are a ridiculous throw away society.

Nothing about Jackson is good anymore. Back in the day when we played a lot of football games there, it was really exciting. Especially the drive home at night along Barnett Res. You could see miles and miles of the MSU convoy car lights winding like a snake off in the distance. Only problem I had with it was most students had been hitting the bottle pretty hard all day and one or two occasionally wrapped their car around a Trace tree. Moving the games back to campus probably saved on avg. 1 or 2 of our students lives each year.
