Well if Yancy said that...

Yancy said he thought Jones would sign with you guys- said it was 51-49 or some **** like that
then he's skeered. If he truly thought they were in the lead at this late stage he would be stating emphatically that Jones would be a Rebel.

I think it is a good sign that Chris Jones has remained committed to us this entire time. Had he decommitted after his visit to OM, I'd think we lost him. But I don't think so.

I am certainly no Rebel and no Troll. Bulldog through and through. What I am though is a perpetual pessimist. And I'm about to lose my marbles over the thought of the Bears stealing our undisputed crown jewel of our recruiting class at the last moment. At the one position that has recently been one of our biggest weaknesses, getting pressure on the QB from the DE position.

Am I trolling too? I feel the same way he does. We have 2011 on our side, as evidence. And basically every other hat ceremony outside Beniquez Brown.

.

Richie Brown? Don't forget about Freezus telling him he "feared for his soul if he went to play for Mullins"
AJ Jefferson? They thought they had him locked up until we offered him
Shumpert this year?

As Todd pointed out to me- Koolio decommitted, so what did Mullen do? He got Donald Gray and Shump to commit- both 4-stars and both better players...

They sign attention whores- we sign grinders...I'm not talking talent levels- I'm talking personalities...

You are an idiot. I know Bulldog from Birth personally. Y'all are so into trying to catch an Ole Miss poster in disguise that it makes you look pitiful.

It makes it hard to come on here when you can't even offer a negative opinion without being called a troll. Especially when you're just sharing stuff you've heard.

Been following Yancy long?

It's just a bunch of guys imitating yancy's schtick about putting out misinformation. They are signing Nkemdiche for certain. And I'd put them at 90+% at signing Chris jones.

Two years ago, Yancy 'called' the CJ flip about the time that he decommitted from State. Think he had some good contacts in the AD.

Last year was a disaster. Between Quay, Nick James, both Browns + others, I'm actually surprised he is still in business

yancyporter.. Folks, please remember this, I am a Johnny Rebel at heart and will put up some info sometimes just to throw a curve ball to the competition. I did it before and I am about to do it again. I will explain why later but you can rest assure it is to mess up you know who:)
yancyporter.. Mullen reads my tidbits like I read the daily stock report. He never misses one. That's why I like to throw him an ole curveball every now and then like Chuck use to do to my boy Jackie!

yancyporter.. We also hear that Auburn is coming back in the picture for Beniquez Brown and he has been giving some thought about going there this weekend and maybe that is why he has cooled on the Rebels as of late?

yancyporter.. Speaking of Auburn, it looks like they have been working behind the scenes for Quay Evans, and if he does not get enrolled into MSU this month, that could open the door for competing schools.

I'll agree on the last sentence.....

....although I'm sure the 'objective' rebels will be here shortly to tell us ridiculous it sounds.

Correct. I tell her all my Chris Jones info and she passes it on to the enemy.

Gee thanks Stephen. But you should know as well as anybody that UM vultures have been on this board since the egg bowl. None of us knew who the guy even was. Especially when words like "bulldog spin machine" get tossed around.

Great Post and Interesting Site ....

..because you have presented us with the purest example of concern trolling I've ever seen (the typical coach34 post nothwithstanding)...http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-concern-trolling.htm

Sooo ... that would make him a "concern troll using a sockpuppet." ...

Depending on the context, a concern troll may use a sockpuppet, a false account which conceals his or her real identity. In some particularly infamous cases, members of Ole Miss spin campaigns have trolled Mississippi State boards using sockpuppet accounts with the goal of undermining Bulldog support. When these cases are exposed, it can be quite embarrassing, as trolling is generally viewed as an underhanded and often questionable tactic.

You'd think they'd at least learn proper spelling and grammer before hacking dawgstudent's account and impersonating him to give cover for the other rebel trolls.

CJ Johnson decomitted. Chris Jones has not. Quit drinking, get some sleep and we'll all see what happens this Wednesday.

heres hoping Evans, James, and the Browns live up to their billing and we can put this end of the season trainwreck and recruiting behind us...on to the highly ranked MSU Baseball Team...

Right, Chris Jones has not "decommitted", but he is going to chose between State and Ole Miss? Question: Please explain what committment means. I don't think I quite understand.

That's what I was getting at

Because I'm going to lose my mind if Ole Miss steals our class jewel to assemble a group with the potential to be a defensive line talked about for years after they leave. And I'm going to need to lash out at all these people who told me otherwise to keep my sanity.

BFB

Why not wait until NSD after everything happens? You will have plenty of time to lash out if need be. In the meantime, it seems like wasted energy to me.
