My uncle sells steel to people in mississippi for construction and he was the one who sold the steel to msu for the expansion. Said he was up there two weeks ago and said there is no way it is done by the opener. Unless they work 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Doesn't have to be complete. Just has to be usable....

Many building projects are like that. I remember the expansion of memorial in jackson being used while they still had a gap all the way up and a crane on site. I remember Jack comparing the size of that crane to E.J Junior in the 6-3 game.

Ideal: Complete, all systems working, knocking out punch list.

Realistic: Can use seats, suites and some other parts of the building, video board & sound working.

Minimalistic: Can use seats

Disaster: Failure to get a CO

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

I'm sorry

but a construction supply salesman has no idea what the PMs exact schedule is on this project, quite frankly. Also, I'm just looking at it being effictively done. You can bet your *** there will be people sitting in the NEZ come 30 Aug 2014.

Hold off installing the visitors' seats.

They will probably go unused at the Mississippi Southern game or at best, for only the first half.

Put 10 seats in for USM and call it a day.

they will be done or done to the point where it is agreeable. If not, They need to start working on getting some money from the surety for lack of performance.

If the construction isn't done in time and there's 63,000 there to see it.....did it ever actually happen?

it will be "done" on time, but we should fire stricklindz, bracky, cohenz, ray, and whoever coached special teams last year in one fell swoop anyway just to send a message. the collective "we" arent going to stand for this **** 13th hour ********. **

Not to mention a Steel guy probably doesn't do drywall and finish scheduling. It won't be 'finished' but no project is really 'finished' until the warranty period is up.

Don't know the technicalities of the official contract they worked out, but in most cases they simply install a penalty clause that will hold a fixed amount of money per day out of final payment for late days. I have never heard of calling in a surety for a complete project, that's not how that works to the best of my knowledge. Of course, as I said, I do not know the contract stipulations involved here.

They will have the CO. I'd look for the realistic scenario. According to someone at Roy Anderson, they aren't worried about it not being done.

As long as ***done*** means they will have my seat, locker, smelly cups, a diet coke gun that can fill said cup up halfway and at least one templeton trough ready, Im ok.....

collins gets 5/13th's fired...maybe 6/13's which obviously isnt a majority, thus not included in the list. obviously, i put a lot of thought into this and it wouldnt feel right doing that. he gets off with a stern warning followed closely by a pay raise.

good point. we should just fire everyone and start from scratch just to make sure we arent forgetting someone.
