I have heard it used all my life as well...

from my mother and yes when it happens you can't breath from the humidity. She was from North Mississippi.

I like the "y'all" one... Not because we use it a lot, but because that word was not started as a lazy conjunction of "you and all" like most people think...

It was born from the old Scottish phrase "ye aw," basically the same meaning.

I live in New York. I can't believe they don't have "yous" as an answer to that question.
