What does the first offense cost us? IMO, every school who hasn't had a violation in the last 5 years should get one free bogey. Then a new 5 year penalty period should begin. There's not a school anywhere whose security can slow down or stop a "rush the field" incident. I think Vandy last year should have gotten a free one versus BAMA.....they deserved it.

I read somewhere the fine is $500,000 but the powers that be have the option to wave that fine if all of the visiting players, coaches, and staff are off the field before it's rushed.

That's a lot more than I thought. Figured it might be like a $100,000 for the first offense.
