Had some Q39 BBQ and Mayo based potato salad with onions today in KC and it was very good!
It’s really kinda hard to 17 up potato salad in my estimation

I joined your ranks. The only potato salad I've ever liked is one my wife made one time, and she informed me that it was not a true PS, but basically a doctored baked potato in a deconstructed format.

WTH is going on here? You make potato salad with mayo and mustard, BOTH and it should always be cold. My wife makes it the night before we eat it so it can stay in the fridge overnight. It's the greatest leftover ever just to eat straight from the fridge.

17 the mustard and mayo, the Germans have mastered their tater salad... Like the women and beer it's served warm, full bodied, and you'll always want seconds.

That’s why I don’t eat potato salad. I don’t want cold cooked potatoes.
I'd agree it definitely is an inferior way of using potatoes, but it's like a chopped steak to me. Yes, it's inferior to a good burger, but it's still good on occasion.

That's the lefty I know **
FDR famously ate tater salad daily and credits it for giving him nourishment as he led the country out of the Great Depression and defeated authoritarianism world-wide. Not a lot of people know this.

Tater salad part may or may not be true, but you sure about this part?

The same FDR that invented the nanny state, packed the court, squashed dissent, and implemented economic policies that prolonged the great depression? No, I did not know that. But since he loved potato salad, it's all starting to make sense.
