SHOULD we win Saturday, it will for sure be one of, of not the biggest win in school history. I know people on this board do not look ahead, but if we win, how fo we refocus on TAMU? Remember South Carolina in 2010 toppling the #1 ranked Tide? The next week, lost to a struggling UK team we beat at home.

The Cream Theory will face its biggest test. Dan won't earn his money this week if we win, he'll earn it next week if we can avoid an emotional letdown should we win this week.

If Mullen wins, we should get our strongest men, maybe Nick James ***** and Dillon Day, to carry him off the field.

A&M doesn't concern me as much as the Arkansas game. I think we match up well

with A&M. If we come in 8-0, the team will probably be a lot more focused since they know a possible spot in the SEC and National Championship is on the line. If the Bama game was say the 4th game in the season, I'd be more concerned of a letdown. There is just too much at stake now for the team to come out flat. Now, say we beat Bama, Bama loses to LSU, and we pull off wins against A&M and LSU, then we win the west with 2 games left in the schedule. That's when I'd worry about a letdown game with Arkansas.

I think it would help that we'll be at home. South Carolina had to go on the road the next week.

IF we were to win this week, the ovation the team gets when they run out next week will be the biggest in DWS history. I don't see how we could be flat.

I really hope that IF we lose this Saturday that we get beat decisively. I think there could be a hangover effect whether we win or lose in a close one. If we get beat without really having any chance to win at the end then I don't have any doubt our guys will be fully ready for A&M. However, if we lose a heartbreaker then I fear there will be a lot of our guys focusing on what ifs rather than the next game. If we can win then of course I would gladly accept whatever negative effect that might have on the next game on the schedule.

We won't be flat at all running out of the tunnel... But winning games like bama make you feel invincible. Its getting deep into the game that messes with your psyche. You can call it mental conditioning if you want. Winning the biggest game in school history is very hard. Putting the biggest win in school history behind you and staying focused on the task at hand (a very talented TAMU team that has played every sec game close) is the even bigger challenge. Saban and his boys expect to win on stages like this. Mullen has won on stages like this. Our school and players have not.

Also, the gator bowl high led to a 6-6 season.
