They lock up people selling shoes and **** and ban those accounts. This guy is just trying to make a dime off MSU, he's using us to try and do it, he is possibly committing recruiting violations all while being a prick about it, and his writing is really, really bad. I'm all for us helping a guy who is trying to creating something for MSU but at this point it seems to extended far enough. His most ardent fans are Ole Miss people loving that "one of our own" (and I use that <font size="3"><span style="font-weight: bold;">VERY</span></font> loosely) is bashing Mullen.
I guess I'm not seeing why this guy is any better than the Koreans selling discount (fake) Air Jordans (his writing is pretty close to the same).

I can't read his stuff anymore. It's too painful and my journalism background would probably give me an aneurysm if I continued. I don't begrudge the guy trying to make a name for himself though as long as he doesn't hurt the program.

apart from simply linking his articles... or reply to something else besides someone saying "You are getting better but your pronoun usage...." and he says something like "Yea, I am going to talk to my editor about fixing that." Other than that, it kinda gets under my skin that all he does is link these articles without contributing anything else to the board. It's like he's so desperate for readers or something.

They monitor the State boards and I am about 99% confident they have seen his "work" and evaluated whether it was kosher. That is why I am not concerned about whether he is violating any rules. <div>

he said he knew the rules but had not contacted the AD nor had he been contacted. I'm fine with them looking at his stuff to make sure there are no violations but I'd rather them at least contact him to potentially stop a mistake by him before it happens rather than after.

I'm sure Short can as well. However, when someone legitimately asks him if he has done so and he responds the way he has I don't think its unreasonable to assume that he hasn't done so. So far, the best answer he has provided is that he has interviewed Bracky Brett.

Most likely those that underperformed and weren't mentally tough enough to flourish under Mullen/Balis daily pressure. I bet they really felt "punched in the gut" by all that. This is the main problem I have. This guy spams multiple boards. If you follow his rants there is a theme. Cam Lawerence is terrible play Bohana, Chris Relf isnt struggling and Tyler sucks, Croom was great recruiter and Dans style sucks. Can you catch where Im going with this. He has a biased agenda. The other thing that bothers me is the constant harrassing others for exposure. Look at his twitter feed. And all my joking about paper being a dead medium aside there is a big difference between a real reporter and some dude who just happens to have an internet connection and a phone. Jortfro is a idiot, but he knows the rules and works with the MSU compliance staff. JShort just turned into a dick when people started questioning if he might be breaking the rules. one of his friends who graduated from Columbus High School isn't getting to play. Just like the basketball play from Noxubee County who he says should be getting significant playing time. He's an idiot and from what I heard most of the people who work for that paper are not paid a whole lot at this time. He's just using them to try and pimp himself as an expert on college sports.
I've done freelance sportswriting in the past contributing to different newspapers in the state so if everything is kosherwith MSU compliance, then I don't have a problem with him as far as writing is concerned.
With that being said, I've not seen him contribute to the culture here & it does seem like that all he does is post links to articles. He does it so much that I don't even bother to click links. I've goneahead and Ignored his posts & comments here.</p>
