Through my intensive research he is the sports writer for this online and published newspaper:

It's a new paper here in Columbus actually started online a few months back and put out its first printed copy this past week. Pretty good little paper.

I have no idea if he writes for anyone else...I don't follow him and I've only read a couple of his articles

why the 17 would he be interviewing recruits that he wants to play for "his" school, and then bash Mullen. I am no recruiting expert, but telling a kid how terrible a school's coach is usually doesn't help in getting them to sign with said school.

If I was on the coaching staff I might recommend to anyone I'm recruiting that it may not be in their interest to grant the illiterate racist blowhard an interview...but that's just me.

It seems like people are pissed that he doesn't have man love for Mullen. I'm having trouble wrapping my head around why anybody gives two ***** that somebody doesn't love Mullen. As far as his writing is concerned, it has been horrible on several occassions. He has picked up his game a bit lately. He has written some good articles based on his interviews. I hope he continues to improve. I don't get why everybody cares so much what he does. It's pretty far-fetched to think that we're going to be penalized because of his actions. He would do well to post something besides his articles from time to time, but the articles are about MSU sports, the subject of our conversation here. I know that anybody who writes and publishes will be attacked, so it's kudos to him for keeping on regardless.

Did Jeremy Liggins not just catch a boat-load of hell for selecting LSU over Ole Miss at his announcement in Oxford? Were there not calls to boycott the establishment that allowed him the venue to make his announcement?

To top it off, here's a quote from the Forward Rebels article re: CJ Johnson and Channing Ward (which is the article that is linked): "Let’s make this clear: If you are a prospect considering
Ole Miss, we will welcome you with open arms. However, if you decide
to go to another school, including our rivals, we will unwaveringly wish
you the best."

This blog article was dated January 6, 2012. Jeremy Liggins made his decision on January 30, 2012. A lot must have changed in those 24 days...either that or I misunderstand what is meant my "unwaveringly" wishing a recruit the best.

To make this relevant to the above post, which I presume is about Jeremiah Short's article being cited by Forward Rebels (this post is admittedly off topic), I say this: Both Short and Douche misunderstand what Dan Mullen is doing with our program. Dan Mullen is putting pride back in our program. Pride and "cockiness" often parallel each other and almost intersect at points...but to confuse one for the other is unacceptable.

Even if not, he may as well be. I do believe he is the first Bulldog to be linked by ForwardRebs. Way to go Shorty! You actually got linked without doing it yourself. There is a first time for everything. I say the coaches need to make the recruits, players, and everyone else aware of this douch and when he calls, don't give him the time of day. If that happens, he disappears into oblivioin!

Dang, not only is the premise of his article stupid, he doesn't do a thing to back it up. Basically just states a bunch of rumor and opinion as fact. If you want to become a legitimate paper, you might want to get writers who actually work to put out a good product. I mean, dang, I could come out with an article better than that in about 15 minutes. It would be on why Stans is the greatest coach in college basketball, and it would include a sweet inside story about how Moultrie couldn't get more than 3 inches off the floor until Stans worked with him individually on his athleticism. It would include no quotes from anyone or even the pretense of sources, but I would do a lot of insinuating that I knew Moultrie and the info was solid.

He's a coward.

He makes provocative statements and then hides his hands as if he did nothing wrong. Can only respond by PM.

That's the mark of a coward.

If you're man enough to make a statement, then you should be man enough to defend it. But, not Jeremiah Short. He runs and hides like a little *****.

Sad. Really.
