I always argue that Mississippi is NOT 20 years behind everywhere else. But alternating color cheers and "left right" never helps my argument.

From where I was sitting, the free throw was already on the front of the rim before the student section yelled "sit down".
Surely there is something about State that doesn't upset some loon some where! I just can't figure out what it is. If we lose all hell breaks loose. If we win folks will still find something to complain about. Some just need to give up following State. It would make life much simpler for them.

It was closer than that... And if you noticed after he threw up the brick, their entire bench cheered. What he did was a veteran move because he knew we would yell "sit down." There's a time to yell and be loud and there's also a time to know what the hell is going on. Those were critical shots.

I was there when Cam Burns hit two FTs in dead silence to send a game against scUM to OT. We won that game.
What's important here? Being quiet when our player is shooting a FT, or REALLY showing that opposing player how dumb he is with a cheer that was ridiculous 20 years ago. You idiots got played by that scUM player, and thank Jeebus it didn't cost us. That was one of only three FTs that Sword missed today.

It was kinda funny, you could see it coming before it happened, and it was a smart move by the OM player.
I was impressed with the crowd overall especially since classes haven't started yet and it's always fun to win that home game against them.
