If they were dirty in a sport that kept you in the red did they not think they would also check on a sport that actually should bring revenue? I'm sure every school has shady recruiting, just as everyone who drives sometimes speeds. Not everyone who speeds drives past the HWP at 120 while flipping the bird with their privates hung out the window. Perhaps they should have toned it down a bit.

It isn't directly their fault. Wouldn't be surprised to learn Forde found out about it from someone in the MSU fanbase that had a generous leak.
