Pretty amazing contrast between the staged Maroon/White Cheer that is 'brought to you by Ford' at pregame and the one that is more spontaneous that actually means something. It was special in the stands.

Post game party in the stands could have been better. But the video board guy had to loop All I Do Is Win on too of the band who was doing the hey go state song.

Screw that song

Agree flab that annoyed me they didn't let the band have its time.

I just ring my cowbell the whole time during that song now. The students and the rest of the stadium are so far out of whack, it's ridiculous. We sound like a bunch of idiots.

It's a shame too, because it used to be my favorite chant/song.

Agree. That was ******. But, I disagree with the poster sleepydawg. I think that song does really well. I actually got to be on the field one time during that song, and the cowbells sounded incredible. Part of what makes it sound off is the result of sound moving so slowly, but it is an easy song stay on beat with so it works better than most. But, yeah, one time is enough and it's ridiculous to play it at the end with the players meeting in the end zone and what not.

But I do have to give them props on in-game music. Thought they did a good job during timeouts. Thunderstruck came in at a great time.

I don't get to many games, and I miss that, but one thing that makes me miss it less is the constant assault by the jumbotron. I'd much rather see it used for its useful purpose, which is promptly showing the replay of the previous play and giving slow-mo where it's needed.
