I'm going to wait a day or two to throw my winner out there (otherwise I really have no idea). I have loved Koepka all along but when I look at Bubba Watson LEADING the PGA in GIR this year, I can't see how he is not going to be near the top. I'm not a Bubba fan, so I probably can't bring myself to pick him, but GIR is arguably more important than putting at Augusta National. This week can thrust an unknown into the spotlight. It could be someone like Willett or Danny Lee. We will see.Who's winning?
That's because Lietzke didn't you dumbass!!I remember he smoked it, but had forgotten/never realized Lietzke had 10 birdies that year. Good Gawd.
Amazing that Lietzke, a left to right player, has the course record with Norman. Augusta is normally considered a right to left golf course.
Top notch Egg Salad for the price. 1978 again when you enter those gates.
Hey, I understand. Bruce Lietzke was the only name I could make out as well.I AINT NO DUMBASS NEITHER TAKE IT BACK YOUR THE DUMBASS*
*meh, i really did mean nick price, oops
Masters gets **** for their arrogance/etc as far as TV coverage and having "total control", but it's pretty bad *** that they've kept the prices like that. Ridiculous, really.
Props to them.
And a 4 day Masters Badge is $325 [laughing] Was $250 until last year...
...my namesake Poultry GOD Grandpa held one for 40+ years, but was apparently unable to pass it down via his will, they can only be willed to the Spouse, who did not exist at his death. I got all his gear and keepsakes, but damn, how sweet would that have been? :weary:
Post back here, Tskware, on your expertence. You're in for a great time. I love to hear Augusta National experiences.Going there Thursday and Friday, first time ever. Bucket list item being checked off for Tskware. :cool2:
Oosthuizen seems to have a good personality and he definitely has the game. His only real success at Augusta however was when he lost to Watson in a playoff in 2012. Had a few MC's but has played fairly well there in the last two years. He is definitely in the mix. Second in two majors last year. T19 at Augusta. He would be a worthy champ.I *get* why Bubba is a favorite going into this week but outside of his two wins, he's been pretty mediocre at Augusta. Nothing better than a T20 in his other finishes so I'm not as high on him as others.
-Besides the obvious picks of Day, Rory, and Spieth, I really like Oosty in this one.
Oosty has only made 3 cuts in 7 starts and average finish is 49th.I *get* why Bubba is a favorite going into this week but outside of his two wins, he's been pretty mediocre at Augusta. Nothing better than a T20 in his other finishes so I'm not as high on him as others.

Bubba has made 7 cuts in 7 starts and average is 24th. That's not really mediocre. Considering he's one of 3 people in the field with more than 5 starts to make every cut.
With Lowry. What a strange group.El Pato and JB paired together [smoke]
Love the Spieth, Casey and DeChambeau pairing. Scott, Kisner, Koepka. Watson, Grace, Poulter!!! Wow. Willett and Garcia together. A tradition like no other!
This '86 documentary is fantastic.
