My only criticism of the Masters is their stingy approach to TV access.

In the 1960's + 70's, TV coverage (even on Sunday) only showed the Back Nine. I knew more about Butler Cabin than entire Front Nine.
Check out masters.com. They are giving away the best TV golf thing I have ever seen in their my group feature.

I am using My Group.
This is the First time for it. Last year it was Featured 3some + Amen Corner.

If they are so precise putting their tees in the ground when suspended for darkness how do they cut the greens in the morning?

I love the Masters and was lucky enough to be there on Sunday in 2007 when Zach Johnson came out of nowhere to win. It is so contrived with the goal of not seeming contrived. Its like watching the Wizard of Oz of golf.

Am I the only one that thinks Bryson is a bit of a jerk?! He whines when he doesn’t get a ruling he likes. He whines about a camera operator doing their job. Be kinda funny if he missed the cut after all the publicity and attention.
No you are not. He is a first class jerk. There are others, but he fits the bill. Just take what the course gives you and play, quit bitching. Sounds like a squealing teenage girl sometimes.

Bryson is definitely cocky and lacks people skills.
But he's no more of a Jerk than Tiger was in his HeyDay.

I bet everyone warms up to Bryson next time the Ryder Cup is played.

Good point. Tiger was a complete jerk. I love the chaos Bryson is creating and he's getting deep under some of the player's skin, which is great as many of them are pric*s.

Does anyone know the answer to this? I wasn't trying to be a smartass. If they do mow the greens they have to take the tees out. Is there an official there watching the mowing people to make sure they are put back in the exact same place? Even so, that would be impossible since they would lose sights of where the tees are when they run the mower over it.

I know that they hand mow the greens (walk behind machines).
Past that, my guess: Tee hole is large enough to pull and replace.

They mow over the tees crushing them into a million little wooden pieces. Miguel Vega and crew then do there best to replace new tees as close as possible to the original mark.

Me and my buddy were trying to come up with a word to describe Bryson yesterday. We came up with goober LOL! It kind of encapsulates my feelings for him. I think it's interesting what he's doing and that he is onto something. That said he definitely has that cocky dork thing going on too so it's funny watching him struggle and hard to really root for him.

That's a good thing to ponder after a morning smoke LOL!

I’m very cool withDJ getting his second major and joining the Tuesday night Champions dinner. I’m also cool with a meltdown tomorrow. Don’t think it happens. DJ gets his second.

Wind could be a factor on Sunday so that could make things a bit more interesting.

Such a solid round today by DJ -- driving, irons, putting. He tied the 54 low scoring mark at 65-70-65 = 200.

The Masters scoring record is 270 (Woods & Spieth) so he could tie that with a 70 tomorrow.

One thing I think being overlooked is the inspiration that is Dustin Johnson. It was only a month ago that he was diagnosed with the most deadly disease the world has seen in 100 years and he was able to somehow overcome that. He's a true role model to never give up no matter how bleak your personal life may be.

Good post. After taking up golf after a 20 year hiatus, I know exactly what to expect. It’s going to take awhile. 60 years versus 40 years? Damn. Lots of practice to do . But it’s ok. I’ll figure it out.

When you do let me know. I’ve been trying to figure this game out for over 50 years.

His driver is on auto-pilot. He didn't miss a fairway yesterday.

Let's hope the course firms up and it's windy. I don't mind a DJ win but I want to see a dogfight.

Thought Chamblee kinda threw Bryson under the bus a bit yesterday evening about making excuses for not being 100% physically. Don’t recall Jack, Tiger, Watson, etc ever doing that.

DJ now at -19 and can set the scoring record with pars rest of the way.

Guess I need to start drawing a stripe on my ball and line it up with the hole when I putt. That must be the secret.
