And by "it" I mean building your system around your talent instead of visa versa. What to do with Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown? In the NFL? Run the single wing, of course. It looked like something out of Nutt's playbook - snapping to a RB who runs the read-option with another RB. But Nutt doesn't run the single wing out of it (I think - haven't seen the Rebels this year).

Anyway, Miami ran it down the throats of one of the NFL's best teams. They didn't bother trying to over-scheme or over-coach. They simply chose the best offense for the players they had to work with. What a concept.

I don't understand why the hell people consider this strategy something that Nutt or even that HS OC came up with... Teams have been doing this for years.. and even Jackie used to do it with Ray Ray "faster than a speeding bullet" Bivens and another one of our WRs that I can't remember the name. They just didn't give it some gay name....

with Urban Meyer at Florida in Tebow's freshman year. Since then, it's been a race to see who could copy it first.

hell, it's hard to come up with something completely new in football.

But it's the motion of the other player, and the option to pitch it to two different players, and the passing game thrown in that makes it a little different. Comparing it to Kordell and the Steelers is like saying all plays that involve a shotgun snap are the same offense.
