this question is for @zappaa
which I am sure must have been discussed here previously, but I did not know about

as Zappa well must know, Randolph "beat" Montclair with a last second field goal

my question is, do you know how much time was on the clock when the third down play ended, and Randolph was out of timeouts
the officials stopped the clock with six seconds left...... should the clock have run all the way out, with the officials making a time error,
or did the play clock run out resulting in a penalty

reason for the question now, I see Apple, spotify, etc are running a podcast series again on this, calling it Miracle in Montclair, which should be
coming up soon

Two other crazy finishes come to mind

1. Somerville high school maybe 20 years ago had a crazy finish in the playoffs where the other team thought it was a fumble at the end of the game and the guy for Ville ran for a touchdown.

2. Rowan versus Bridgewater in a D3 semi finals to go to the stag bowl, it is criminal that Rowan did not get a victory.

I was there and way too busy screaming at Jack Davies for allowing his QB to take a knee 3 consecutive plays 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage each time.
Instead of the punter kicking from the 15 yard line, he kicked from his own end zone after a negative 15 yards in 3 plays.
