There are only two ways I see Cam or AU getting anything out of this.

1. There is PROOF that money was solicited by Cecil and PROOF that Cam and/or AU knew of this. This would take a confession or a taped discussion. You can't come down on thembased on what someone says happened.

2. There is PROOF that Cam was paid by someone affiliated with AU to sign.I'm not sure if AUpaid him or not. Obviously it's easy for us to think they had to since he wanted money to play here. Is it possible for money to have been funneled to the Newtons, the church, the trucking company, distant relatives of the Newtons, etc. without the NCAA finding it? I think that is possible.

my guess heldBond or Bell. Not sure who is on it, and what it says. But I talked tosomeone Wednesday that personally talked with Bond within the week and he said Bond said there was a tape(s). I heard Bill Bell's name from this conversation as well, the day before Rogers mentioned him on the radio interview. I just hope however we got it won't get us in trouble for improper contact.

I keep reading that solicitation of money makes a player ineligible...it's being reported that cecil solicited money, but he's saying that his son knew nothing about it...

I also read where cam made a statement that his dad made the decision where cam would attend school.

so he represents him while choosing the school, but when he pimps him out, he's not representing him.

best of both worlds for cam i suppose...

it's not like "I" (someone who doesn't know or have a relationship with the newtons) went to bill bell and said "i can prolly sign cam newton for 180k"

HIS FATHER ASKED for 100-180k...cam is guilty only by association, but guilty non the less(at best)

I think he knew exactly what his dad was doing..

the FBI doesn't get involved just because, they had to have something that got their interest
