Why the lengthy suspension? A report on BulldawgJunction.com
cited an NCAA rule that is no longer in the NCAA’s rule book. The rule,
however, was in the NCAA books during Zeidaks’ tour with professional
players last year, according to the report.
So if I smoked some weed today and it was legalized next week, could I be arrested in ten years since the law made it illegal at the time of smoking? Either something's in the current rulebook or it's not. I don't get this whole backtracking ruling, but it wouldn't be the first time the NCAA has done something asinine and it surely won't be the last.

On a side note, Sweet jesus... Some things would be a crime not to share

Georgia plays the Atlanta Braves and college teams play MLB teams in exhibition games all the time in spring training.

Oh, and WVU as well...see that guy from Turkey with a beard that needs shaving 3x daily.
The list is hardly limited to MSU.

Euro players are a tough sell. They grow up playing in the clubs and move up the ladder because it's simply their version of AAU ball.

It's all ********, but it's not some vendetta on Stans.

Yeah, I know that. And he was ruled ineligible because of it.
My Kanter comment was in response to The NCAA declaring him permanently ineligible. Just pointing out that the could have sided with Kanter and his pops, but sided with the team owner who had an obvious interest in the issue.

The WVU player had to sit almost a whole season, right? Just for playing with a pro. And whe you play against someone, you are playing with em.

I think the decision is unfortunate. And I don't like it from a perspective of what is and isn't just. The NCAA is sinking from violations and scams left and right and they are reactionary instead of proactive. This is the crap that then happens.
