Watched UK baseball yesterday afternoon and Jaxon Jelkin was impressive on the mound. Even though they were playing Evansville who are now 0-4, his pitches were really good. They have a double header today against Evansvill but they will not be televised so...

I have not followed the off season to know who all is on the team and who were brought in from last year, so I don't know where we are in any area but liked what I saw yesterday. I do know we lost Tyler Bell indefinitely to a shoulder injury in the season opener against UNC Greensboro. Have not seen update so I don't know if it is for the season or not. He is definitely a loss at SS for the team.

Basketball... meh, not exited today but, will watch tonight unless they start getting behind bigly (Thanks Trump). Once that happens, I turn it to something entertaining these days. Don't need to stress.

Hello all,

Cleaning my office today (Again and again.) and may hit the road with My Darling at any time. May head over to the Quantico Comissary, or not.

My office is a different animal. Me and the BB share it. I can cause as much clutter as he can. I have a new desk and so does the BB BUT, the BB decided he needs a new desk. No drawers in his desk. (Makes sense to me.) He is a good boy and does not ask for much. (I caught his desk on a real good sale and it sells for almost double now so selling it won't be hard.)

Bought him a Nurf machine gun a few days ago but he was hesitent to shoot it but we did yesterday. (I had to figure out how to shoot it and teach him as it was a little complicated. Thing shoots 40 rounds in a few seconds. (Takes six double A batteries.) He tore up a wall then took on Papa, and tore me up from behind. (I had to tell him it didn't hurt though as I acted like he wasted me.) He kicks butt with that baby. Reloading is a killer though... ;)

Getting ready to start restoring some old pics and video's. Have some damaged disk items as well. I use to possess the skills. My Sis (SIL) and Brother have about all their pictures on an old hard drive that burnt out several years ago. Had some forensic personnel try restoring it but failed. I do not think they had the skills so I have been re-learning "them-skills". Took me a good while. We shall see.. I SURE hope I can restore some pics and vids from their sons childhood days. (He is 41 or so now.) They have so few now. It will be a life type achievement for me if I can pull this off. My Sis is a good one. She is 70 now.


Really hope the Cats get back at it for good this season. I like the idea of a former UK player coaching but darn, step it up Coach Pope... You can do it, use some of those doctor smarts... But different...

Good morning folks. Warming up in the east. I went for a long run this morning and worked up a nice sweat. I'm ready for spring.

Cats have a tough game today. My confidence level is...Well, I guess hoping is a strategy when all else is out of reach.

The weather says some serious snow coming possibly Sunday night into Monday... We shall see. Some said in the ten to fourteen inch ranges, some not that much....

They need to be sued and I am, if not the most, so very close to the most non-litigious person going. I have no use at all for lawyers. Only met one in my life I'd trust with a dollar and I have met and worked around literal hundreds..... They are just greedy by nature and always take their time but they always bill by their "time"...

Come on Cats, play for something other than......................................................... Yourselves..........

19-20 wins and we are in the tourney so... we should achieve that at least. Not sure that helps anyone feel good at this point.

UK won the double header against Evansville yesterday and are now 7-1. Did not watch the games since not televised but saw where they had to come from behind in both. I have only watched one game so far and am not sure if they deserve the #18 ranking, but we will see. Evansville is winless at 0-6 so that was not a good test.

Morning D-Legionnaires!

27° this morning with light winds. High to be in the mid 50's and sunny.

The Monster (our youngest dog, will be 5 next month) has picked up the distance and pace of our walks lately. Wintertime is her favorite with all of her fur keeping her warm. The old girl (Pyrenees mix) made it to 15 years last month (normal 10-12 for Pyrenees). She has however gone from just at 100lbs to just around 60lbs and struggles to get up. Once up, she does pretty good, but we know she is on her last legs so to speak.

You folks in the east battling the weather be safe out there and to all God Bless.

Good morning folks. Buried under snow again in the east. My aching back after two hours of shoveling. Something about this snow was particularly heavy...

Thanks to Team USA hockey for lifting my spirits yesterday after that sickening basketball game -- in every respect.

I know a few Canadians from my traveling days and have one or two really close friends from there (one guy I was really close to passed away a couple years ago.) I can tell you losing this game was like losing four straight NCAA championships to Duke, UNC-Cheats, Indiana and Louisville in a row. Of course, I'm not the kind of guy to rub it in. Unless you consider pointing out that the USA now has BOTH hockey gold medals AND has kept the Stanley Cup in the US and out of Canada since 1993 rubbing it in. And pointing out that if they wanted hockey glory all they had to do was accept the offer to be the 51st State. Okay, that's rubbing it in a little, I guess. Nothing that wouldn't come my way if it had gone the other way.

Hello all,

Good afternoon,

Just touching my computer for about an hour now. The snow got schools cancelled today. The BB and the LBBB are here and warring. ;)

They are good "babies" both six for a couple months until the BB turns 7 in April.

They keep both me and Ama as busy as is possible.

Anyway, I think I am re-doing "my" office again to accomodate them both with a desk that will give them both benefits.

Had a good amount of snow here but the roads seem fine.
Shoveling my drive and sweeping of the car only took a few minutes so that was nice...

Anyway, have a great day. I am almost winded and now they want to go upstairs to the Lego hangout..... Luckily I have a full lving room there and a soft couch and TV. May watch a little John Wayne..... yeah right...


Take this day and love it....

Good morning everyone.

We had snow on and off all day yesterday. It melted off our driveway yesterday afternoon only to be covered again by dark. It should melt again later today. I feel for those in the NE who got hammered.

Game Day today. I think "nervous" is the word of the day. If we lose.....I think I'll stay away from this site for a good while. lol

Hello all,

I took the BB to school earlier this morning. Getting ready to leave shortly to take My Darling to the commissary. (On Quantico Marine base). If any of you are interested in a decent steak, try a Chuck Eye steak just one time.... It is very low priced as compared to other cuts but give it one try and let me know your thoughts. We normally eat this cut and a buddy I made at the Comissary seems to keep me a few back. (Not always but he has been good to me.) I plan on getting him his favorite drink today if I can run into him.

Anyway, Come on Cats and Coach Pope, get this thing righted.....

Edit: AND, call out the cheating Refs again!

Got some Chuck Eye steaks today, three packs. My goto wasn't there but another guy brought me them out of the back... I am thankful!

Whew, I'm glad to be here today (on the site). Any SEC road win is a good one, but it sure didn't make me more hopeful or confident for the rest of the season. It would sure make the tourneys more exciting if we can win 2 of the 3 final games. We'll see.

We've got some nicer weather coming up. Time to get some honey do's finished.

Good morning folks. Well, a win is a win, especially on the road in the SEC.

Those of us who are older and grew up in the era when hating Bobby Knight’s Hoosiers was central to being a Kentucky fan can draw amusement from IUse2Bees HOME loss to a terrible Northwestern team last night. That may very well be the loss that keeps the Hoosiers out of the Tournament -which would be the 12th fail in 17 seasons. Incredible. Indiana has only gotten past the Sweet 16 once since 1993. We need to replace Mitch before Kentucky gets on that same road.

Was up early and at it. I am thankful...

Not a lot of results needed today except to spend some time with My Darling. We are hitting the mall to do some walking shortly.

Sure glad the Cats won. Come on Coach, step up your game. I know you can do that.... Take it to the next level soon.

We're currently having the prettiest wet, big flakes snow fall. Not sticking on sidewalks & street, but building up 1-2" on shrubs. Our Japanese maple looks wonderful. Temp is 32-33. Sunny and 50+ this p.m. Have a great one.
