she is correct. there was incredible voter suppression issues that would normally go to the Secretary of State. In Ga it was her opponent and he would not recuse himself or step down .
If record number of voters showed up how the hell was there any suppression

My civics classes and history classes taught me that the Judiciary branch is to interpret the law as written not to turn it upside down
If record number of voters showed up how the hell was there any suppression
Well, because other people who wanted to vote were unable to. Kemp, as Secretary of State, had struck people off the voting rolls for things like not voting in the previous election and on technicalities. He won by a razor thin margin so it looks like this had its effect.
As far as civics lessons, you make these statements that are so over the top that it is hard to believe you have given any thought to what you are saying, like that all Obama-appointed judges don't bother upholding the law they just do what they want. Not only is that absolutely not true but the Republican appointed judges have been engaging in their own brand of judicial activism. Apparently you just like that better.

Perhaps all that means that in 2020, there were less ballots that should have been rejected.
I should have fact checked this before I responded. Georgia rejected the same percentage of mail in votes for signature issues as it did in the past 2 election cycles. Trump's tweets were, and here comes the surprise, incorrect.

Sidney Powell has confirmed the case being filed against Georgia in the next day or two. Says it’s biblical. Also accuses Georgia governor Kemp of deal with Dominion.

She says the corruption is in both parties, and that Georgia is the FIRST state she’s going to blow up.

You want the truth too, don’t you? If Trump has nothing, so be it, but if he does, they need to go down.

Of course I want the truth but Trump and his cronies are not trying to get at the truth, they are trying to steal an election. To do so, they have interfered with recounts, threatened the poll workers and now are going to court with ridiculous theory after ridiculous theory. I also wonder who is paying for this. I suspect Trump is not and that the legal fees of these charlatans he has hired are coming out of tax dollars. The problem with coming up with lies and then falling back on just looking for the truth is that it gets in the way of doing actual work. I mean, really, we are in the middle of a pandemic spike and where is the President? Certainly not doing anything to help. Also if you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth. Right now 70% of Republicans believe the election was stolen. Do you think they will be convinced otherwise when this preposterous conspiracy theory is laughed out of court? I would venture to say that they will not which will make it hard for the person who was actually elected president to govern. And right now, we need a functioning government.

Did she actually use the word biblical? And is this the same day or two time frame that's been being said for a week? Also, since Powell has apparently had the goods for a week, why did they allow Lin Wood to walk into a Georgia courtroom with no evidence and get his case thrown out?

And she is going to formally accuse Brian Kemp, a guy who Trump heavily endorsed and was very much aligned with Trump through his couple years in office, helped the Biden campaign fix the Georgia election?

For clarification, Kemp was able to be all in on the fix but he couldn't secure a Senate win in either race? By the way, which direction would he try to fix the Georgia Senate races? Is Kemp a deep cover Never Trumper or is he is a Deep, deep cover Democratic operative who is working for them?

And perhaps the most important question, what would Sidney Powell be in your eyes if you disagreed with her conspiracies, a ho, a tramp or a hag?

The more I've thought and read, I actually think this is just one big cash grab on the way out.

The donations the campaign has been soliciting, isn't actually all going to legal fees, as up to 75 percent is going to the Trump Super PAC, Save America. The use of those funds are completely up to the Trump's campaign.

I have read numerous reports that Giuliani had sought $20,000 a day to handle this mess. That leads me to believe that the other three figures are probably getting no less than K a day. If you can stretch that out from election day through inauguration day that's about 1.4 for Rudy and at 350 for the others. Then you throw the opportunities that will come to fleece the rubes afterward, this is potentially very lucrative for Giuliani and company.

As for Trump, with the donor operation set up the way it is, one would have to assume he's taking the bulk of that. Super PACs such as Save America are typically used for campaign expenses like travel, ads, etc. Trump isn't advertising and he's traveling on tax dollars (when he actually leaves the White House) so there's no use for the money there.

It seems highly possible that this whole circus is nothing more than a heartbroken loser trying to boost his ego, to sabotage his successor and to monetize his presidency one last time before he leaves office.

Is the money Biden's campaign is begging for going to go to the legal fees. Or is that also just a cash grab?

About the Trump js trying to steal the election, narrative and the examples given to support that. One. None of us know what evidence they have. All we're going by is the cases that are flailing in state supreme courts that will be appealed, and our feelings. Anyone who speaks as if their opinion is fact is being dishonest.

How has he interfered with recounts? By demanding that Georgia audit ballots and match signatures instead of just recounting the same potentially fraudulent ballots again? And intimidating pollsters? Like in Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta and other cities did by barring them from being close enough to oversee the counting, sometimes not even in the same room. Or like threatening the children of officials who refuse to certify the election in Wayne County Michigan. That kind of intimidation?

Let's just quit acting like there is a guilty side and an innocent side here. This is American politics. All sides are guilty. Let's just see what happens in the SCOTUS. In all likelihood, orange man gone and dementia man in. And we will all be united, covid will be cured, the poor will be rich, anyone who doesn't want to work will still get paid and our Healthcare will be free and timely.

If Sidney Powell is lying, then she’s a useless POS. She swears she has the goods. You know what “the goods” are right? Remember me explaining that?

Like I told your buddy Durham, I want the truth. So she’s saying Kemp is dirty, what’s your point? That should at least make you think slightly higher of her, that she’s a lawyer for Trump, yet says Republicans are dirty too.

If you can’t at least see that, you’re hopeless.

The money Biden is begging for is for transition costs, at least that's what's being said. Simple fix to that: Trump authorizes the GSA to release transition funds. Trump does that, no more fundraising. And then Biden has four years to monetize the presidency.

I clearly stated my last post was thought and opinion.

I don't agree with threatening people's families and such, I've said that. I'm curious why the sworn affidavits from the two Michigan officials didn't contain that only references to a lack of belief that Michigan would do the audit it committed to.

Is there proof of the pollster intimidation? The affidavits containing all those bombshells got thrown out of court.

I have to ask, why is there such a focus on Atlanta, Philadelphia and Detroit? These are all districts Trump was going to lose regardless. I have an idea, and I think you do, too.

That last paragraph is correct in that American politics are dirty. No argument there. I don't understand the rest of it.

You didn't explain the goods, you just rambled, much as she has done to this point.

I don't think highly of anyone who traffics in conspiracy theories with no evidence and rants in public like a lunatic.

The problem with so many conspiracy theories is that they fall apart when logic is applied and the only way to maintain them is spiral further down into a path of paranoia and idiocy.

What motivation would Kemp have to fix the election for Biden? And if he had the ability / connections to fix the election, why wouldn't he do the same for the Senate races?

Powell has said this crap has gone on with both parties, but some seem more worried about what my opinion will be about her than what she might uncover.

These people get into politics, and get to bigger stages, and get richer. Both sides. That’s a fact. They get bribed, shut up, while their bank accounts grow.

I wasn't calling you out. I was more responding to what derm was saying. As far as Biden asking for money, on his site it specifically says they need to raise money to fight Trump in court. Not important either way.

You're asking for proof of the pollsters being intimidated, I can't say one way or the other. Supposedly there will be video evidence provided. But I can't confirm at all. But is there evidence that Trump was intimidating pollsters as the other poster suggests?

The focus on those cities is not because Trump was going to win those districts and didn't. It is because those cities are where the obvious fvckery comes from. The stopping of the counting fairly early on election night, hundreds of thousands of ballots showjng up over night overwhelmingly for Biden. The huge number of ballots where there were no down ballot votes, just votes for Biden. They are also the cities most notorious for fraud. Whether anything comes of tbis or not, it needs to be looked at and reported fairly.

Sorry, I misinterpreted the part about pollster intimidation. From what it sounds like, Trump isn't trying to intimidate so much as he is trying to sell lawmakers in Michigan and PA on saying things his way. The Michigan reps at the Trump hotel drinking Dom don't appear to be on the business end of intimidation tactics.

The problem with the claim he was going to win those districts is that he was leading in places with less than 30 percent of votes counted. At no point in the lead up to the election was Trump ever projected to carry Philadelphia, Detroit or Atlanta. He didn't lose those states because he underperformed in those metro areas. He lost those states because he underperformed in suburbs and, in some parts, rural areas.

Biden doesn’t have to monetize his Presidency because he has spent the last forty plus years to make his family rich.At least this time he will be able to use Air Force to get a billion dollar deal for him and his Coke head son from China

It’s possible. But, what does that say about Kemp *IF* he took a bribe? It’s rumored his chief of staff? has connections to dominion.

I think the Democratic Party is rotten to the core, and many Republicans as well.

Sure, it's possible. And just bribing him, how does that work? How does he actually lone wolf fix the election? Now you're bribing other GOP officials. And this all goes down with nobody leaking anything? And why not just fix the Senate races while you're at it, as they're arguably just as important? At this point you have the entire Georgia GOP on the take, it's not like they're in any position to object to your demands?

And why does the Trump campaign keep pushing back their lid-blowing days? At this point its sounding like Trump's healthcare plan, which was always two weeks off.

You might be right. I don’t know Sidney Powell, and I’m only going off what she is claiming to have. She says this is going to be blockbuster, and she can’t unsee what she’s seen. Maybe she is full of ****. I hear she’s credible. We are about to find out.

One thing I know is the media is crooked. A guy I thought a little more of, Tucker Carlson ripped her. She says she sent him an email of the affidavits, to which he still “had a tantrum.”

I’m of the full opinion that our media is a huge reason why things are as bad as they are. Have you ever thought that these politicians and the media help divide us? We throw mud at each other, defending our side of the aisle, while they prosper?

You're doing the exact thing I've been reading about.

A week ago, Tucker Carlson was you're guy and a reputable journalist.

This week, he says something lightweight critical of one of Trump's conspiracy theorists and now you're referring to him as a guy you thought a little more of.

Seriously, how does this work?

God almighty. You are piling conspiracy theory on conspiracy theory. So now there were ballots with no down votes? That's insane and if true shows that the Democrats are the most incompetent election stealers around. Biden needed to Senate to be able to govern effectively so the Establishment, who ever the hell that is, only fixed a portion of the races. Seriously.

One of the reasons we are hearing more about what you call fuckary is that the election has been followed in ways it was not before, thanks to Trump's decision to try to steal it. It turns out that the problems in Detroit that led to of the canvassers initially to refuse to certify happened in 2016. That time it was in Trump's favor. Then you had no problem with it, right?

As for intimidation, some of it occurred on election night where Trump supporters showed up and started shouting. I forgot which poll it was, but they had to close down early as a result. There is now a complaint filed by the counters in Wisconsin that the Trump observers are contesting every single ballot as a way to stall the vote so it can't be completed by 12/1. They have turned one of the greatest things about our country -- the fact that we choose the president every 4 years -- into a clown show. It should be an embarrassment to every single American.

I posted earlier in this thread (those numbers were exact, these are working off memory) but Trump, I believe, received more votes in Texas this year than HW Bush received in Texas in 88 and 92 combined. He received 2 million more than W received in 2000 and over a million more than W in 04. In Texas.

If it was possible to create that kind of enthusiasm and turnout then no numbers surprise me.

You’re either incredibly stupid, or incredibly naive. Yes, I thought Fox was different than the others. They aren’t much better, if any, than the others.

I want the truth. You expect her to spill everything on air? Any reporter should realize that too. We want to know now. She says it’s a massive amount.

We will find out. Do you really want the truth, or just stay entrenched in your own bias?

But you thought Tucker was a week ago. You said as much. I criticized him (based on an actual court case in which he got a defamation suit dismissed because his lawyers claimed him not to be a credible source of information) and you got mad, defended him and started talking about my opinions and how my sources suck.

Now, a Trump conspiracy theorist rips him and you side with her.

Yes, I'd like truth but I'd settle for a logical explanation as to why they've spent the last two weeks going into courtrooms across the country and getting thrown out for lack of evidence but they've actually had "the goods," this whole time and they're just waiting for tomorrow (or maybe the day after) to bring it.

Do you have an opinion or any insight on this? What have you been hearing about why they're willing to take all these courtroom Ls while they're sitting on evidence that could have actually moved things in the direction of keeping states from certifying elections?

I guess we will find out soon. If it is like you say, Trump and his legal team are finished. Just think Tucker should have known better. Nothing wrong with me being critical of someone I have said I liked, is it?

God almighty. You are piling conspiracy theory on conspiracy theory. So now there were ballots with no down votes? That's insane and if true shows that the Democrats are the most incompetent election stealers around. Biden needed to Senate to be able to govern effectively so the Establishment, who ever the hell that is, only fixed a portion of the races. Seriously.

One of the reasons we are hearing more about what you call ****ary is that the election has been followed in ways it was not before, thanks to Trump's decision to try to steal it.

You are not reasonable or objective. I am not piling on conspiracy theories. That is a lazy and uninformed opinion of yours. What I am talking about is concerns with how the election was handled. Is this the first time you have heard that there are hundreds of thousands of ballots with no down ballot votes? I have only heard people explain those, not deny that they existed. And the reason why they are a concern is because they are the ballots that showed up in droves over night. Again, I am just repeating the converns of .any people who know more than I do. I don't have evidence that it is true any more than you have evidence that it isn't. This is why I keep saying let's wait and see what happens with the SCOTUS. We will see.

You are too emotional and think that your opinions are facts and are above everyone else's who disagrees with you. It is evident by your dense way of shrugging off concerns as conspiracy theories. That is probably because the media is complicit and refuses to cover the election fairly and you are going by what is being said by a group of democrat activists who are disguising themselves as journalists.

As for the delay. We were told months leading up to the election that we wouldn't know the winner for weeks or even months following the election. Now that it is apparent that China Joe won the election to some, we are now complaining that it is taking too long for Trump to concede, even though it has only been 17 days. Remember, the electoral college doesn't vote until 4 weeks after election day and Al Gore thought he was president for 37 days. The only reason why you guys don't want to give Trump a fair opportunity to challenge the election is because you want him gone. Not because you care about democracy. Which is fine, but you don't get to decide.

The last thing I am is emotional. I am trying to show you how this so-called conspiracy is absurd on its face. Way too many moving parts to pull it off in as many placed as would have been needed and that is even crediting that people were thinking about doing what you are suggesting. You, Topps and Mac always fall back on how the only voice I am listening to is a Democratic media machine voice. I don't know how many times I have explained that I read everything, including Fox News although I guess I will have to move to the new conservative news sites not that Fox has fallen out of favor with so many Trumpites. Perhaps I am actually a free thinker who is capable of making up my mind after analyzing many different points of view.
