The New York Times reports on wiretaps on Trump aides and now they are trashing their own reporters.

Did the NY Times publish that front page, top of the fold article or not? Did the article specify wire tapping of Trump aides or not? Is the NY Times now backpedalling or not?

Did they lie back then or are they lying now?

You do realize that wiretapping in that NYT article was of Flynn (maybe others) but nowhere did it state Trump was wiretapped? You wingnuts are easily confused. No wonder you voted for Trump.

Actually it has been reported that Flynn was not surveilled, the Russian Ambassador was.

The NY Times article states that Trump aides were wiretapped. This apparently was not Flynn. And now the NY Times is backpedaling as fast as possible. Lying then or now?

They are not incompetent, they are firm believers in their cause and any action they have to take to protect that cause is fair game. So very corrupt.

I don't disagree with their root corruption, but incompetence is the only way to describe their inability to keep their bias straight.

What other explanation could justify their behavior on this?

When the NY Times pens a piece on the FRONT PAGE ABOVE THE FOLD and then later denies the report without a retraction, that is corruption. They described the taps of Trump's aides. Now they claim the aides weren't tapped. Lying then or now, pick your option.

Neither. You are struggling mightily with reading comprehension. The NYT article says the wiretapping was used on Trump's aides. That's what they had on Flynn - a recorded conversation of him. He was caught in lies and that's why he resigned. Nowhere did the NYT ever report that Trump himself was wiretapped, although he may have been.

No, you're sadly misinformed or lying or both.

From the Wash Post:

Although it remains unclear whether Flynn himself was being monitored for any reason, his conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak were intercepted because the Russians’ calls are routinely monitored.

And Flynn was fired because he mislead Mike Pence.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Tuesday that President Trump asked for Michael Flynn's resignation on Monday night, citing an "evolving and eroding level of trust" with his national security adviser.



"The president was very concerned that Gen. Flynn had misled the vice president and others," Spicer said.
