I agree a lot depends on whether IU gets back their QB and RB. If they don't, RU wins 27-17 (assuming we continue to play aggressive FB). If they do, and if they are able to play at near 100% (unlikely), then it will depend on which RU team shows up. If the coaches continue with the smashed nosed football we played Saturday night, then I think we still win, but a closer game at 31-27.
For me it's impossible to predict without knowing whether IU's starting QB and RB play. If we're as fortunate as PSU and their snake oil salesman coach and have to face neither IU's starting QB or RB, I think we win. If both play and are healthy, I think we lose.
if Rutgers plays with the intensity, grit and heart of last Saturday I don't care who plays for Indiana RU wins. If RU plays as they did against Penn State RU looses big time.
It's Indiana's Homecoming weekend, but the fans are more excited about the upcoming baseketball season.

It's time for this RU FB team to show some toughness in a B1G road game. I think they do it. Besides, my next door neighbor Bambi is a big IU fan. No way we can lose to Bambi.

I don't usually take part in these threads but if we play like we did against MSU I think we win with or without Sudfeld and the RB. If we play like we did against PSU, I think we'll struggle. I guess it depends on which team shows up.
I hope we blitz as much as we did against MSU. Sudfeld isn't a mobile qb even when healthy, with a gimpy ankle it's only going to be that much better for us to get to him. I'm sure they'll try to get the ball out of his hands quickly but I still think it's the best way.

We are ready. Big performances by Hicks, Martin, and the run game. Carroo being Carroo. Defense continues to play aggressive and the secondary continues to improve.

Most are correct that it is so hard to predict without knowing who is starting/playing for IU. I think our offense will be able to move the ball and score so I am going with us scoring 27 regardless.

You live near the woods? I don't think it's a problem that you've given her a name, but the fact that you think she talks and follows college football is a little disconcerting. Not to mention the whole age thing.

I believe we will put up a good amount of points on them as their defense still sucks. Carroo should have a field day with their inexperienced secondary. Defensively the spread gives us problems. But if we blitz like last week than a hobbled Sudfeld will be forced out early. I could then see their pt. total drop and this become an easier win. I don't believe Howard will play as he is a smash mouth runner who will need more time to heal or if he does will be severely limited.
