They don't give up points to challenged offenses, and we set weekly records for yardage allowed on defense.
They score to make it 28-7 with two minutes left in the half and we have no timeouts left to run our 2 minute offense.
Final score 41-14

Their defense is the real deal and they're giving up something like 4 points per game at home.

Good luck.

...was gonna say 41-13 Wisconsin. Based on the M*A*S*H unit overall team health status and with the way Wisconsin rag-dolled us at home last year, I don't know how this year will be any different.

8th Best D in the nation and we simply can NOT move the ball and score against good D's (PSU/OSU, so far...). Does CC finally hit the field? Homecoming, possible showers, this could get ugly:

What's the point in predicting we will lose? You know you aren't winning any contests here, right?

Well, because it's a "prediction" thread, not a "hopes-and-dreams" thread? LOL...I mean we all WANT to win but that's not the object of this thread (week-in and week-out).

You have the homers who no matter what will pick Rutgers to win. Why not be realistic and base your opinion on what you think will happen. No one wants to root against Rutgers but to pick hem every single game is not the point of assessing the game. Predictions shouldn't be based on your heart

I'll go with Wisconsin 24-7. We get the 7 in garbage time as this game was never in doubt from the get go.

Hi guys, hope you don't mind an interloper (and btw, I went with my daughter to a campus visit to RU about a year ago - interesting setup with the 5 campus areas, but I digress)...

You're getting a very banged-up Badger squad this week. Our starting QB had a head injury in the 1q and didn't return - not sure he'll play, but the 2nd-stringer was really good. You know about Clement - even if he does come back, the OL is a big mess - the starting C is out for the year, as are a couple of the other already-underwhelming OLs - might have to burn a redshirt just to field a team. Our #2 and #4 RBs are the only healthy ones and both of them are converted defensive players. We also lost our #2 WR Saturday and have been playing without our #1 TE. So, basically, the only reliable weapon left is our #1 WR- Erickson. He led the team in both rushing and receiving on Saturday (!), but even he drops a few passes that he shouldn't.

That said, the defense is relatively healthy.

I also expect a low scoring game - I'll say 20-10, UW

PS - It's Halloween in Madison - that used to be a pretty huge unorganized spontaneous thing where something like 120,000 people in costume would party on State Street, but the city took it over about 10 years ago and attendance is now reportedly in the 25,000 range

With 4th and 2 on the Wisconsin 40 and down a TD, Flood decides to punt again.

Actually he had 3 and 2, then promptly tried to fool OSU by going backfield empty like a jack *** and telegraphed his little 3 yard toss…then punted.

...if there's one thing I'm sure of its that our injuries/ disorganized messes >>>>>>>Wisconsin's injuries/ disorganized messes. Opposing offenses pretty much get 21 points just for showing up against us, kind of like Casino Club Bonus Bucks.

Nick, I'd love for that to be but you pretty much know Federico ain't making that kick, and since entering the B1G we have held one conference opponent to under 23 points.

Start the game with Laviano, at half time bring
in the secret weapon, and we will win by a
field goal made by Federico. 24 to 21.
You almost had me until you mentioned we win on a field goal from Federico. LOL!

Seriously....Wisconsin has given.up 48 points in the last 7 games.

Any chance Saturday begins and ends with finding offense.

Got to find 27 to win

Im not feeling too good about that one

Wisky wants payback for us inexplicably beating them in basketball. 59-0. Student section does jump around and then leaves en masse for the Halloween party.

Since it makes no difference if you are right and we lose, I think it's better to see who came closest to the actual score when we win!

Anyone can predict a loss - big deal.... I support our team and think any game can be won! (And I'm not Al - lol)
