You really cannot keep these two fanbases light-hearted when the teams are competitive. Add in Southern, and I'm surprised there hasn't been any football related homicides in the state.

However I do not see a whole lot of State fans running to Ole Miss boards to temper expectations under a fake veil of "objectivity" like the legions of rebel idiots are allowed to do here.
