The pregame atmosphere inside the stadium was electric. Loudest and most electric I have ever heard Scott Field before a game. It's just amazing how things can change in a year. Let's hope our QB play can do the same.
To the game:
To the game:
- First play of the game - horrible throw by Lee. It should have been six.
- First INT of the game - horrible read by Lee. He should have thrown the ball about 2 seconds earlier. Berry? was wide open.
- The students cheering Ingram's injury should get their *** whipped.
- Dixon got 90 yds. He ran hard. I thought he played good.
- I wanted to see Relf throw the ball again. The pass to Wilder was gorgeous. The rest, not so much. It is what it is with our QB situation.
- Richardson is going to be better than Ingram next year. I didn't realize Ingram was ONLY a sophomore.
- Our D did fine. Once aGAIN, we only gave up 17 going into the 4th. It's our offense that struggles and relates directly to QB play.
- We need a QB.
- I don't know if I have mentioned this yet, we need a QB.
- The thing about the kickoff return, even if Bumphis would have been clearly inbounds, you can't review the play because it was blown dead. And that would have made me sick if he was clearly inbounds.
- QB is a position we need to have marked improvement. We are close to turning this thing around.
- If we could do a graph of our week, the bar was rather high on Wed and Thurs considering basketball season, Cruncy Mike, and my wooliness towards the game. Then Friday, it dropped about 50%. Then Saturday afternoon, it dropped about 10% watching McCluster run for 280yds (he has to be the fastest player ever in a football unifrom). Then it lowered by about 30% after the game Saturday night. Funny how the tides of a fan of the two SEC schools in this State can change in about 24 hours.
