We were lucky to get 8 this year.....We were the product of a soft schedule both
in and out of the conference......We caught Auburn with their worst team in 40 years......Arkansas was horrible.......Then we got UK and UT....The OOC schedule was laughable at best......

I think that shows that we have talent because the issue is coaching. We were/are winning in spite of them. The problem is our coaches don't place them in position to take advantage of their strengths.
We should have won those games by more than we did. Every single one of them.

Come on Todd, your better than that........I might say that if we had been
close against good competition but we weren't.....When we played good teams, we got the **** beat out of us.......

Well, let's quickly look at this
We beat Troy 30-24. If we play more aggressive, we win by more.
We hung 31 on South Alabama and were very sloppy.
We had a 10-7 lead on MTSU at the half.
We let UT have a gift TD before we went on a miracle 5 minute drive to close out the game. Again, play more aggressive and we win easily.
We beat Auburn 28-10 when we took the foot off the gas.
We hammered Arkansas. Only game we did what we were supposed to do. Other than JSU.
If you look at the games we lost- even though we were mainly blown out, it was because we didn't do little things- like we had a FG block against Bama, we had a horrible gameplan against Texas A&M- how is that on the players totally?, and we made some stupid mistakes against LSU- hell, we gave them a free TD right before the half.
I think you have to blame most of those issues on the coaches.

Actually, he isn't better than that. There were people who were ridiculed when they suggested this team was soft after the Troy debacle. But the attention whores that have made this site a romper room said Mullens was holding back - and so many of you bought into that.
It was laughable, but very few were sharp enough to find the humor.
To the guy that got ridiculed for picking 6 wins, you were as close as those that picked 10 - actually closer. Because none of those four losses were in doubt going into the 4Q.
