What does he offer that you would consider D1 level?Sorry, I did not know we were in the presence of the great talent evaluator and D1 team builder RUDivision, haha, lol

Yup, the list is from the kid. So he could be anywhere from a plan B kid to someone who just got something in the mail.Do we know how seriously Rutgers is even pursuing this guy? Sounds like this is based off of a tweet where the kid lists schools he has heard from.
I'll wait for Pikiell, Knight and Hobbs to decide if they think he can help win games and what role he can fill. I have not seen him play and I'm pretty sure you have not either. But, carry on.What does he offer that you would consider D1 level?

Lol , hair game is definitely strong .Hair
First I was talking about Miller and if you have not seen him play then you definitely should be off these boards. Turn in your alumni card and move on. Agreed, that the coaches are the ones to decide. Clearly the talent of the bench this year had some poor decisions made or bad evaluations made by those three.I'll wait for Pikiell, Knight and Hobbs to decide if they think he can help win games. I have not seen him play and I'm pretty sure you have not either. But, carry on.
Perfect my Sunday is complete. Boddingtons or Murphy’s instead pleaseDoes Guinness have a record for most posts in a thread telling us that Miller isn’t a D1 player? Because I think RUDivision may have broken it.
People said this when we wondered why they took Jalen Miller too.I'll wait for Pikiell, Knight and Hobbs to decide if they think he can help win games and what role he can fill. I have not seen him play and I'm pretty sure you have not either. But, carry on.
There are guarantees one way or the other. Last year everyone loved D1 talent Ethan Wright and good thing for us he chose Colorado....![]()
Miller is not a 6th or 7th man. On a healthy roster he was our 9th or 10th man.Are you watching the tournament? Look at what they come with as far as a 6/7 man . Hell look at our own conference. We need someone who can compete and at least hold their own . All teams have bench and situational minute players and they play at a high level. Not a ok too good undersized on the ball defender who cannot dribble, shoot, rebound, or score .
That's exactly the point. There are no guarantees one way or the other.People said this when we wondered why they took Jalen Miller too.
Based on matchups that changed! Agreed 100 percent with Mag healthy he slides back one spot. Although, in-game decisions based on foul trouble or matchups he was the first guy off the bench. He was the 6th man and played big minutes in the most critical games. The Purdue game in the BIG Ten tournament as an example.Miller is not a 6th or 7th man. He played 7 minutes in that game, which was tied for 7th out of the 9 players that played.Based on matchups that changed! Agreed 100 percent with Mag healthy he slides back one spot. The staff that cost you a tournament bid this year. Outside of Wolf(gray hands and feet) in 2 years and Simpson who should have started the staff gave you ZERO on the bench. Unless you are a fan of Hyatt. That's exactly the point. There are no guarantees one way or the other.
And every College Team in America has busts. There are 5 Star busts, 4. Star busts, busts up and down the recruiting list. In the long haul, I'll side with the staff over message board guys kcg88 and ruDivision.
Uh, what?Sad. complete hogwash. I am not opposing people's innate kookiness. I expect losses lingering and staying home shows terrible resolve. It's not good ending Rutgers just on random decisions and nonsense
HmmmmmmThe staff that cost you a tournament bid this year. Outside of Wolf(gray hands and feet) in 2 years and Simpson who should have started the staff gave you ZERO on the bench. Unless you are a fan of Hyatt.
He was a situational backup. When the team needed some defensive energy he came in. He was NOT the first guy off the bench, healthy Mag or not. Jalen played 8 min and was the first one off the bench that game and managed to shot 2 shots under the rim. The only other player who played more off the bench was Oskar. That was due to foul trouble. Before you provide his plus/minus numbers he was the main guard off the bench. That is a problem. He is not a D1 player. He played 7 minutes in that game, which was tied for 7th out of the 9 players that played.
He was 11th in minutes played this season.

Purdue Big ten Tournament
Biggest game we played this year! Next question. Oh, carry on!Purdue Big ten Tournament
Sure, he was the 6th man playing the 11th most minutes on the team.Biggest game we played this year! Next question. Oh, carry on!
You obviously don’t watch the games. The board called and you have lost your hall of fame and gold member status.Sure, he was the 6th man playing the 11th most minutes on the team.
I mean the box score I have says 7 minutes but sure 8 if you want. Being “first off the bench” is meaningless, especially since you are talking about a single game. He was 11th in minutes played this season. 11th. Not 6th, not 7th, not even 10th. He barely played.Jalen played 8 min and was the first one off the bench that game and managed to shot 2 shots under the rim. The only other player who played more off the bench was Oskar. FalseScorers can learn to defend. Great defenders who can’t shoot don’t suddenly become shooters. Let’s get some guys who can score.
Not too sure of that - Souf, Bullock, Palmquist, Reiber, Miller, Doucoure.Pike is a pretty good talent evaluator. This kid may be a back up option but I’m not going to say he isn’t quality depth. RUs bench was not able to play when they needed them. Pike needs to improve every spot.
Ok it’s meaningless in the biggest game of the year. Your right he deserves a rotation spot and I look forward to increase minutes out of him this year.I mean the box score I have says 7 minutes but sure 8 if you want. It’s meaningless always. The literal order in which you enter the game is not meaningful. Minutes are what matter.Ok it’s meaningless in the biggest game of the year. Your right he deserves a rotation spot and I look forward to increase minutes out of him this year.
It’s even more troubling when you look at minutes. However, your Absolutely right and It’s amazing how knowledgeable you are . Thank youIt’s meaningless always. The literal order in which you enter the game is not meaningful. Minutes are what matter.
It's confirmed. You're Trolling, because no one is that clueless. Time to ignore !It’s even more troubling when you look at minutes. However, your Absolutely right and It’s amazing how knowledgeable you are . Thank you
You lost your status and I already answered and embarrassed you with your dumb question. Carry on!It's confirmed. You're Trolling, because no one is that clueless. Time to ignore !
All for it! If he sees half of Caleb in this young man and then it makes sense .They're are obviously looking at him for defense off the bench. Doesn't mean he's our top prospect. Caleb had like what 1 or 2 other p6 offers? He became a national defensive player of the year. Pike even said in interviews rating services rate based on offense. He saw Caleb as a 5 star defender. He probably sees this Coppin State player in similar light.
It’s meaningless always. The literal order in which you enter the game is not meaningful. Minutes are what matter
Why do they have a 6 th man award of order does not matter? Minutes matter yes So when you have a complete hole in your lineup which was intended to be a rotational player that matters. His lack of minutes prohibits him to develop and puts too much pressure and minutes on the starters which can lead to tired legs or injuries.wonder if that was a problem? I wonder if our few guards had any lingering injuries or if they tired down the stretch of the season?? I wonder if we had someone who could actually dribble or shoot could have provided a lift ? Minutes matter yes! When you play them matters more. End of game, key spots in a game, big games etc…
No that’s not what I am saying. Order matters and when your used matters . Yes total minutes is critical but not the only thing . Hyatt before Mag was hurt was the first man off the bench. Is that some kind of joke? The sixth man is the guy who plays the most minutes off the bench.
If you think Jalen Miller was the sixth man I am not really sure what to even say.
If you want to quibble about the order of people who are relatively close in minutes, go for it. Jalen Miller averaged 4 minutes a game. That’s end of the bench, full stop.No that’s not what I am saying. Order matters and when your used matters . Yes total minutes is critical but not the only thing . Hyatt before Mag was hurt was the first man off the bench.
Sir Jabari Roce would argue what order you come off the bench and not just total minutes. Your point was minutes are what matters.
Expect in the biggest game of the year. Once again total minutes matter. When and where you are used more critical. You will learn once you get your head out of an excel. Completely stopped! If you want to quibble about the order of people who are relatively close in minutes, go for it. Jalen Miller averaged 4 minutes a game. That’s end of the bench, full stop.
