This new administration seems to actually listen to the fans input, so there's hope they make the change permanent. At the very least get rid of that damned two birds logo...it's the absolute worst

Need to see that on a basketball uniform. Noticed recruits are taking pics with it, maybe nike will come up with something for basketball.
The birds humping logo has been around since 2016, looks too much like AI copied the K-State logo to be less blocky, and has run it's course. It's time for another "modern" rebranding with Nike. Love the Power K as a throwback uniform, but not an everyday uniform. Much like the Denims in Basketball. Like it for one game, but it wouldn't work as the base uniform every night. The "Phallic" Tongue Cat probably isn't coming back either. The current interlocking UK looks too much like Houston's logo. Some teams can get away with the same logo for 75 years and unchanged uniforms (Alabama), some teams do too much with experimental uniforms (Oregon), but staying modern and looking "good" to potential recruits is pretty important.
I don't think we ever went far enough with the checkerboard idea. These concept uniforms really pop. They'd look even better with Kroger and the "birds having sex" wildcat logos on them.

It’s a little bit of both I hate how it looks like an I with a weird thing hanging off of it, the middle of it is like off center or something in comparison to the modern UK logo.
I don’t hate it entirely, I’d be fine if we played quarter to half of the games in it but I saw people saw they want to replace the modern logo entirely even on the basketball jerseys but I’m simply not nostalgic enough to like it that much.

Well you’re in the VAST, vast minority. Matter of fact there are so few of you who thing that it doesn’t even make a minority. It’s not the power K that’s the issue, your taste just doesn’t hit the mark. The power K was praised as a fanbase, across the state, and nationally. The players LOVED that uniform. I am friends with a UK D lineman, he said the players thought it was the best they’ve worn yet. Like I said, it’s just you.
The power K uniform and helmet is by far the most popular look bar none, period. So you’re entitled to your opinion but if an opinion on taste could be wrong, it would be yours.
Coming back from the LSU game, it’s all fans in Lexington were talking about. Going to work that Monday, it was the only thing people I work with were talking about. There is no getting around how beautiful and awesome the power K is.
BS on the VAST VAST Minority. Keep injecting yourself with "Power K". It's OK, it was even great IN THE 70's. It's from our past. It's a great look for a throwback, but thats about it. So why dont you and the VAST VAST majority come join us in the here and now lol. Thanks.

You can keep saying your BS until you actually believe it, and while I and the VAST majority think the power K looks way better than the UK, I think even more of a majority will agree that it looks way way better than the missionary birds.
I hate the basketball uniforms, that absolutely shouldn't be our permanent look.

100 percent agree with you brother. 1992 or 1978 should be our forever uniform. I like the 1992's better, the solid color waistband looks less IU.
OK bud, keep your dream of the Power K alive. It will remain a dream but hey everyone is entitled to their dreams from the past. You do you, I wont stop you or care lol.
Or just get rid of the friggin U. I mean,seriously, what is the point of even having a U in your logo? Every damn D1 school is now a U, so that doesn’t distinguish you in any way. It’s just an extra letter that’s thrown in for no damn reason.
The cool thing about the power K logo is that it is unique to Kentucky. Nobody else has it. When people see it, they associate it with us and nobody else.
Conversely, the interlocking UK logo is so generic that it’s instantly forgotten. It looks essentially the same as countless other interlocking logos other schools have had. And when people see the other cat face logo (aka the fornicating birds), they just think we copied Kansas State, who’s had essentially that same logo for WAY longer than we have.
I’d rather have a logo that is uniquely ours than one that looks copied off others.
You cared enough to respond to the thread and my reply and a few others replies, so it seems you care a bit, and it has nothing to do with the past, it has everything to do with how it looks. For example if UK got rid of the missionary birds and 30 years later they brought them back for one game, I would never ever ever say they looked good and we should bring them back full time, but hey you do you, if you like those horrible birds you keep on representing,

100% the football team collectively loves the power K. The coaches loved it, Stein loves it. That’s here and now. The VAST majority of UK fans want it, that’s the here and now. Look at that sht avatar you’ve got, who tf would actually promote that garbage?. I’m guessing belly button stained blue work shirt with some black pants, wearing some Shaqs, with adidas high rise socks. If you like the choppy crap with bids in your logo, having no taste or style that actually looks good, then sure go for it. But there might be an about 4 of you in the base, but keep being ignorant I guess. Share that little 4 person opinion and think you’re on to something. Lol.
You ever notice Stein seems to ignore that logo every chance he gets? And he’s all in on power K. Maybe, it’s just you.
