The Preacher... best show on TV since "Breaking Bad".... period.

Took me about 2 to 3 episodes to get going, but that opening scene is a doozy.
I'm worried about it making it to another season. It should, but I can see how some people may not like it. It's prolly my favorite show out now. Of course that doesn't mean jack ****, because my opinion is worthless
Based on graphic novel. Anyone that liked Sin CIty, 300, or Watchmen will love this series. Just outstanding.
Quirky **** man. i fully don't understand what's going on.
Preacher who has a sketchy past (literal *** kicking bad ***)
a damn Vampire (have no clue what the deal is)
a bad *** black chik who wants the preacher to become former bad self
some alien thing that flies into the Preacher and two odd,creepy guys who can't die are trying to get it back
got a kid who failed to blow his face off with a shotgun and you see his deformed face
Not sure what's going on, but's it just so nutty that I keep watching it to try to find out what the hell the deal is.
It's not an exact quote or even remotely similar to what the person said but it was presented in the same way . It would be hard to get , the movie Armageddon . It wasn't a fair question , free like for playing .
Lets see we have
A preacher who used to be an outlaw and gets possessed by something we don't know what.
A single mom and assistant to the preacher who is in love him but does the mayor on the side who she wants nothing to do with otherwise.
A vampire that is a crazy drug addict and evidently a good friend of the preacher and cracks me up.
2 "Angels" I guess trying to get what ever is in the preacher back because they screwed up some how.
Former girlfriend and partner in crime of preacher who wants him to help her kill the dude that betrayed them during their last heist.
The schmuck of a mayor who seems like a good guy but you really just cannot like at all.
An owner of the local slaughter house who makes Joseph Stalin look like a choir boy and may or may not be the main antagonist of the show. I'm not sure.
The first scene of the first episode is definitely something that will hook you. The last scene of the latest episode was a holy **** moment.
And lets not forget the I have no clue whats going on with the 1800's but I'll assume its going somewhere and will pay off story.

Needs much more T & A. Otherwise pretty good after watching the first 3 episodes last night.

I watched the trailer. It was okay. A little strange but I am sure if I watched episodes, it would be better. Hard to go on a trailer.

I am really hoping that character gets killed off pretty soon. The combination of ugly/gross and cowardly/apologetic is very unappealing in a "accidentally touching snot stuck under a seat" sort of way.
Interesting, from the descriptions it doesn't seem to be in his vein of work. Wonder what that's all about. Might have to catch a few episodes to see what I think.
Watched the first couple episodes last night after reading this thread. Didn't want to quit watching, but had to hit the rack.

Excellent summary. Crazy *** show that is a must watch. Told my coworkers about it, but can't get them to stop watching Duck Dynasty, Storage Wars and Pawn Stars long enough to catch it.
My vote is the wife beater (but she is the one who likes getting beat), but I think the black chick dying would send a signal.
Tulip is the hottest thing I have ever seen. I don't know what it is about her peppy stubborness but when the vampire was pounding her from behind I almost cried.
