Oh boy... I wasn't happy with how he left the first time. If this is true, I will have very mixed emotions. I don't trust him at the moment.

Are we going to get retarded videos put together by his wife too?

Maybe RR can bring the old Big East back together again and resume his winning ways. How could anyone get tired of beating Rutgers?

Whatever happens, Lyons won't schedule Marshall.

A team kicked out of the old BE is ranked in football.... ...along with Pitt

I wonder if Rita has ever considered becoming a spokes person for sun dried prunes?

Rich Rodriguez "could" return to WVU?
I "could" be Santa Claus.
I "could" be a serial killer.
I "could" be an astronaut.
I "could" be Rich Rodriguez.
I "could" write anything I want to write.

Two lines that glaringly stand out. One is WVU fans would welcome RR back with open arms. Really? Yeah, there's always the gullible ones who will be suckered by him and who actually think he's just going to pick up where he left off and win like that again? And, not have the past hit him in the face now and then when he least expects it throwing him off of his game?
The second is that Holgorsen is a very good head coach. No he is not. What is it with some of these sports writers. Do some of them ever actually think before they write this stuff?

"He was well loved in Morgantown and would likely be welcomed back with open arms." They simply left out the names of the cheerleader and the Real Estate Agent that would be doing the welcoming.

Don't Rita and Rich fear for their lives in Morgantown? Or were they just joshing for a half a decade? Why did they get the FBI involved? And did or did not that agency conclude that El Producto and Senora Rita were full of caca regarding their accusations?

Inquiring Mountaineers want to know.

The quote sounded so amateurish. I wouldn't be surprised if the article's source is The Dude. He's dumb enough to sau something like that, for sure.

You know what the watermark of a legit reporter is? Being employed by BleacherReport

lol!

In the old days, legit reporters cut their teeth at The Weekly World News. Gene Pope the guy who owned those supermarket rags paid his reporters more than an editor got at the New York Times.

Gene didn't care what you made up, as long as those papers sold. The more attention your tall tales got, the more you made.

The internet has caught up with Gene's style, but not his pay scales.

Bring him back and let's start winning again please. I don't care who our coach is, success is measured by W/L, RR is successful

He wouldn't come back (thank God) anyway because he would have to pay for suntan sessions again. They're free in Arizona.

Neither the source of the article nor its referring statement have any credibility. File under: "..I saw it on the Internet so it must be true!"

Remember: The Easter Bunny is real!

That's not even well done fabricating. To be remotely believable, one would claim that prominent boosters of WVU have made overtures to him to gauge his interest or that his agent has spoken to intermediaries of the school, etc. High-ranking officials of the school don't travel to meet with coaches in person (or vice versa) unless and until it's time to try to close a deal.

I wouldn't venture that there is no possibility he will be courted or even offered the job and accept it down the road, but that's just pot-stirring.

I believe Luck traveled to meet with Dana for a discrete meeting about half-way through Stewart's last season.

I am a Mountaineer through and through. I have little family and my entire estate is slated to go to WVU. If Rich Rodriguez were ever invited back...I'd change my will to leave it all to my dog!

I'm in the same boat. Our dogs will live a great life after we're gone.

You've got 'em fightin' over you now, Orlaco. I see a triple wide on the law school with your name on it if you play them right. Those dogs can't live forever.

I had almost forgotten about good ol' Calvin. He might have come to the conclusion, given that 8 years later he's never been offered a HC job, that maybe it wasn't just racist Wvians who were the problem.
