The Repubs have been putting on a show for 6 years trying to repeal the ACA....

they've had 6 years to come up with a better plan. And Trumplethinskin said during the campaign that he'd replace it with something "special" where everyone is covered and it would be cheaper with better access. The CBO says Trumpcare is worse than the ACA as far as it increases the number of people without insurance and it will cost low income people more-a lot more. PT Barnum, once again, would be proud. Suckers.

Not at all surprised. In fact I bet the GOP infighting gets worse as some face the reality that this is far more expensive and difficult than originally thought. Also watch Biff, he'll create lots of distance between AHCA and himself because he doesn't want any responsibility whatsoever.

Medicaid expansion is all that Obamacare was. So he is the food stamp and medicaid president. Brilliant.

This "gift" that BO left small hands trumps any lame "wire tapping" claim or anything else that little Donnie can do back to BO. Surely BO can't stop smiling at the train wreck which is the AHCA.

Socialism is a train wreck. Obama was a train wreck. The black community is a train wreck. The VA is a train wreck, our govt is a train wreck. Need I go on?

I'll bet Obama is laughing his *** off, especially the part where Biff blurted out about the wiretap just as a distraction.

I'm still curious to hear what the admin is so confident about regarding "evidence" on the up until now baseless claim.

What finally emerges from both Houses will be a AHCA bill that puts patients in charge of their health care and takes the Government out of it:

  • Prices for insurance will come down through competition--no more single market choices

  • There will be more choices, more options, more plans designed for individual preferences

  • Health care providers will compete for consumers and offer plans that provide low cost options

  • Policies will be sold across state lines, to increase competition and lower overall costs for insurers

  • Malpractice fraud suits will be capped, and tort reforms will be instituted to limit liabilities to risks

  • Policies will be portable from job to job, state-to-state, and person-to-person.

  • Low cost basic coverage will be offered for young healthy people

  • High deductible low cost catastrophic plans will be made available

  • Tax credits will be offered for the elderly poor, and working poor

  • Health savings accounts will be tax deductible to pay for routine services

  • Community rating will be eliminated to lower risk pools and high costs in high risk areas

  • Group associations to lower costs and spread risks will be allowed

  • Insurance companies will get tax breaks for treating the medically indigent

  • Medicaid will be block granted to States so they can adjust their subsidies to those most in need

  • Patients will be able to chose their Doctors and their plans, and make changes as needed

  • No one will be forced to pay for care they don't need, or buy policies with choices they don't want

  • And quality of care will improve through greater competition and lower costs from health care providers.

What will be missing from the AHCA that the Left hates is Government control of the health care marketplace.

That's being left to the people.
