If LSU loses to Arkie tomorrow and Auburn beats SC, the second best team in the SEC will be a two-loss Arkansas. There are too many quality 1 loss teams ahead for Arkansas to leapfrog them into a BCS game.

The winner of Carolina-Auburn will get the auto bid.<div>
</div><div>If it's Auburn, the winner of the LSU-Arkansas game will be high enough in the rankings for the Sugar Bowl to pick them... and they will. The Big Ten can't put three teams in. The next team down is Arkansas. The Sugar Bowl will want them.</div><div>
</div><div>If it's South Carolina, then either LSU or Auburn would be selected as an at-large because they'd still be so high in the rankings. You gonna take a one loss Boise over a one loss Auburn? or a Top 4 LSU? No way.</div><div>
</div><div>It's guaranteed.</div>

then they won't until after the season is over. I just don't see them closing this out before the end of the season. The FBI is involved now and that's not going to speed things up any.

Is there a rule that says a conference can't have 3 teams? I was wondering b/c the Big 10 will have 3 one loss teams.

and Ohio State is 8 so I would assume if they win today those 2 teams get BCS bids, but I dont think we've ever had 3 teams from one conference in the bcs.</p>

No more than two teams from a conference may be selected, regardless of whether they are automatic qualifiers or at-large selections, unless two non-champions from the same conference are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the final BCS Standings.</p>
