I guess it's true what the billboards say then

The best two words on Sisky's resume were in fact "Ole Miss."

A more reasonable excuse would be to blame Bracky Brett for our shortcomings.

Nice attempt at deflection.

If in fact he did hand Saban the game plan, then if I were you, I would a lot more worried about the ineptness of my coaching staff then an assistant in the coaches box with a pair of spectacles.

The last 5 meetings with bama, OM has scored 3, 10, 7, 14, and 0 for an average of 6.2 pts/game. OM shunned a couple fg's. I'd say they performed how they always do against bama.

You're

not very intelligent if you honestly believe that Alabama hired this clown for the exclusive purpose of beating OM. As others have said, why didn't they do this with someone from A&M or LSU?

Also, Saban is extremely disciplined. He expects this from his players. 100% discipline. Nothing less. For that, I admire him. All that junk you mentioned is a party of modern day football, if you want to be at the top.

One of you geniuses explain this to me...

Even if this guy could read every play call with his binoculars and manage a way to communicate that in time to the defense for it to make a difference, how in the hell is that beneficial against an option offense? Ole Miss runs a handful of plays - it wouldn't be hard to decipher the code if you wanted to. Hell, I bet every defensive staff worth their paycheck knows the play calls based on situation, personnel, and formation.

The play calls aren't what make their offense work. It's tempo and giving the QB the ability to take what the defense shows on every play that makes it effective. From each called play, the QB has many options including a run/pass decision. It's a reactive offense on the fly at the line of scrimmage. I love the approach, but play calling creativity is not one of the reasons it is effective. If this guy in the box was savvy enough to crack the code (which was changed, btw) and figure out the play call, he would have had to master the art of telepathy to read Wallace's mind and to tell all those players on defense what to expect as Wallace was reading the defense and taking the snap.

Bitching about this shows a lot of ignorance about how their own offense actually works and is 100% sour grapes. Perhaps Alabama shut them out because they contained the edge, disguised their coverages to prevent Wallace from making an easy read, and let superior talent take it from there? No, couldn't be that....

We said something very similar happened @ Auburn 2yrs. ago. Nothing to see here, just people running their mouths to justify a loss.
