The Recruiter- "Donovan, I got offered the Clemson job. Good money, good conference. What do you think?"

Donovan- "Are you 17'ing serious? You do understand you will have a stronger schedule every year and have to actually coach the players right?"

The Recruiter- "Oh. I didnt think about that. I better stay at State where I'll never have any real pressure to win NCAA Tourney games...thanks"

wasn't that Stans declined the Clemson offer. He was out the door when Clemson discovered that Stans didn't inform them correctly of his buyout and when it was discovered through his agent that Clemson was going to have to pony up, well..the Clemson offer dried up and Stans had to walk back through the door with his hat in his hand. I think Isaac and Noah were already being fitted for Orange windsuits to wear on the bench.

Stans got an offer from Clemson was bc he and McCorvey were fishing buddies.
