Ive listened to Jones and Ramsey. Honestly both of them are cocky little wise asses and Id likely had wanted to take a shot at them too when I was younger. I know in this day and age its appalling to most people but there was a time where you couldnt just run your mouth without fear of repercussions. In this litigious cry baby society we now live in this has become not PC and the pen really is mightier than the sword. The bottom line is if youre going to take shots like they both do dont be surprised if someone calls you to the carpet. If jones had a set he would have taken the challenge but turned it into a charity boxing event. Thus getting to fight and looking like the good guy. I get the vibe that Jones wants no part of a fight with anyone. Im surprised Ramseys little squeaky *** had it in him to challenge him. I dont like the guy but a tip of the cap to him for having a pair.

Matt and Tony Vanetti are great buddies and work for Clear Channel together. Ramsey is opposite Vanetti's show and has lost audience during that time slot. Matt taking up for his good friend. Ramsey and Jones do not get along in the least

What a $!##Y day. Stuff like this does not make me feel any better. The 1st half script was exactly what I thought it would be, then Stoops happens. I think Barker just threw another Incompletion. No wait, Jackson just converted another 3rd and 12 with an up the middle run.

Ramsey told MJ he'd kick his tail...and told MJ that he was in better shape than him LOL!

Asked MJ if he was 'scared of me yet?'

Funniest thing on the post game was Jones defending Forrest for throwing the ball into the stands. Called it an "excitement play". What he didn't mention was that the tards got the ball on the 45 and scored a TD on the following posession.

The dude is a DBag. I was at a concert several years ago and he was there with a date. They sat right beside me. When the concert started a couple in front of him stood up and starting dancing. He told them to sit down and they said no. He got security and got them thrown out. 5 minutes later everybody in the building on their feet. And to top it off his date actually said "don't they know who he is? He's John Ramsey" He just smiled after she said that.

What a piece of work.

I'd pay more to see Ramsey-Jones in a CWS/Cage Match than any UK football game in the last 6 years....
Get-r-done..........
Thats what Im saying. Remember when Meiners and Gatewood did this? Raises money for charity and you get to take your frustrations out on one another in a controlled environment. Just from my observations Ramsey is the kinda guy who would love this idea whereas Jones comes off as a run to momma kinda guy. I dont think itll happen.

Ramsey uses too much self tanner (he is orange) and appears to shoot up with something to look younger....

Ramsey reminds me of Joe Piscopo. A has been who is no longer buff but still orange with bad hair. The main difference is that people know who Joe Piscopo was.

All Matt would have to do is wave a chiquita in front of him to which he would immediately piss himself while doing back flips to earn that nanner...jus saying

That play also gave U of L extra motivation. He basically cancelled his own Touchdown out and them some. Crucial mistake.

Just because I think it is only fair that you have both sides of the story. Here is was what John had to say in regards to the incident. I think this will clear up a lot of questions about the incident. Personally, I was struck by the comment that John said where he mentioned that UofL fans made it clear that we did not want a show like Matt Jones'. That is very true and something that we were all very vocal about in the beginning.

"For the record .. I saw him in the press box and I do not deny confronting him. He spews lies about UL coaches and their families, UL fans, and yes..me. Very personal attacks and rarely do these distortions have anything to do with sports. I am not usually a confrontational guy but he has went out of his way to call me out. Face to face he was very timid and his only answer regarding his dishonest personal attacks on-air was "that's radio and that's me." He never denied lying but also never offered an apology or explanation. He kept switching subjects to ratings and his network of stations. Says he was "second in his graduating class." Claimed that Louisville tried to copy his format with my show. I told him that our fan base made it clear that they did NOT want anyone like him representing Louisville and that like our athletic program I take a higher road (which I hope listeners agree I do). he said "Louisville does not have a fan base." He had a prepared speech about how accomplished he is but I could never get him to justify the lies. I never threatened him physically but he was white as a ghost and seems to be concerned about his shoes rather than looking me in the eye and having a discussion. As everyone knows he is a bully on-air and bullies do not like it when someone pushes back. There was one guy there from "Sea of Blue" who walked-in about halfway through our "discussion" and he has totally fabricated a story with a few select facts. It was obvious Matty was scared but that was not my true intent. I was honestly hoping he would admit to lying and apologize. I should have known that his ego would never let allow for that scenario, BTW..for the Big Blue fans who want to claim I was drinking there was not a drop of alcohol in me. (I saved the celebration until after the victory). Bottom-line, I do not deny that I wanted to confront him.. however, I realize that Card fans are too classy to encourage a brawl in a press box. I apologize for nothing. I still feel that honesty counts and that everyone needs to be held accountable.

However, with that being said... If there was interest in an MMA fight at The Yum for a charitable cause I would be open to participating. Card fans are compassionate and are always open to helping those in need."

so now we are back to believing the whores...Yeah...I believe anything a tard fan says. "Matty" calls them out on their ignorance with the facts. Simple as that, and it pisses them off. I wouldn't waste a good piss down Ramsey's throat if his guts were on fire..

Well I don't know John personally but judging by the two radio shows one of the hosts is classy and the other is not. Please listen to both and it won't be hard to figure out which is which. Just sayin.

You're right. It is of course very classy to try and start a fight in the press box of a FB game.[roll]

And of course it's hard not to take seriously a lesson in class by someone whose screen name is part coach who cheated on his wife and had sex on the floor of a restaurant. Another coach that quit on several teams , cheated on his wife and hired his mistress. And an AD that thinks hiring both is a good thing.[roll]

Big man with MMA fight interests.... Will he submit to the testing required as well? I highly doubt he could pass those, but I am just passing an uninformed opinion of this clown (only knew him from a former athletic club in louisville....) EVERYONE, and I mean, EVERYONE I talk to says this guy has his head up in the air and full of ... well, I can't use the s word anymore, but you know where I am going. Just know, Mr. Ramsey, has always wanted to be in the public eye. Until now I never knew he had a radio show.. I live in Louisville and will not listen to those bunch of Jurich knob gobblers for a lack of a better term. It is disgusting to me how there is such weak backboned folks in this city that just accept and roll over to win ball games and accept the moral capacity that is the coaches at the school where their kids and family grow up. Pathetic to say the least.. I mean, we make mistakes in life.. Not ALL of us are leaders of young men. I wonder if he would ever confront a man of similar stature, etc and challenge him to an MMA fight. I think it is known Matt is a beast.. but a beast of the verbal kind. Always is a funny thing when a overgrown idiot and a person who has been priveledged their whole life is talking smack and trying to "say it to someones face".. Seen many of those same folks fall very hard on the arse.

(Sorry Mods if any of my language was offensive)

Dear Mr. Ramsey, act your age and get a life... Quit piggy backing off a self made radio show with your obviously steaming pile of garbage.
