There are three pros under par at the start of the day. They had rain last night in Pittsburg. Scoring should be better, if you stay out of the rough. If you do get into the tall stuff, hit and hope. That’s your only chance.

Go ahead. I’ve never missed any put shorter than 17’ at oakmontIs this where we get the speech “well why don’t you go try and play it yourself.”**
Adam Scott is making a very respectable charge. Or he was until he just pushed a shot out of the rough (240 yard 5 iron). Short sided himself in a deep, green side bunker. There are three pros under par at the start of the day. They had rain last night in Pittsburg. Scoring should be better, if you stay out of the rough. I'd hate to be a member paying outlandish dues and not be able to play the course for months. I suppose if you can afford it it's not that big a deal though.Wonder how long the Oakmont Members weren't allowed to play so they could grow the roughs high as jungles. Tony Finau just isn't doing much lately. I don't think he has an aggressive enough ego to win big. I do like Hovland and Adam Scott has always been a favorite of mine too.
And he almost holed the bunker shot. Looks like maybe a foot away.Adam Scott is making a very respectable charge. Or he was until he just pushed a shot out of the rough (240 yard 5 iron). Short sided himself in a deep, green side bunker.
Adam Scott off to a bit of a rough start.Final pairing just now teeing off. Both Scott and Burns are in the middle of the fairway.
Only 1 behind at the moment. Wouldn’t mind seeing him win it. I like Burns too tho.Adam Scott off to a bit of a rough start.
Burns got screwed on that call. He should have been able to get relief
