The Who SUCKS!

Queen Latifah should stick to rapping and acting.

Carrie ... whats-her-name ... was screaming my national anthem. I was pissed.

At half-time, a great stage and light show wasted on The Geriatrics.

This **** sucks.

..musically I thought they sounded fine, not perfect but good. Daltery's voice just isn't like it used to be.

The only thing that could have made that performance better was Entwistle on bass.

AA - would have put "5.15" on the set list

I like The Who, but that performance sucked. It would've been amazing 20 years ago. Today...not so much. Its past their time.

I thought they did a good job with transitions and played a great selection based on how much time they were given. I thought it was pretty damn good. Not earth shattering, but worth watching.

That was on a flight out of Boston some 30 years ago, when for some odd reason they were flying commercial.
They had stanky BO and ****** women.

Other than that, they seem to have enjoyed quite a commercial success, so I won't deign to judge their talent.
Tonight's show was impressive, especially the pyrotechnics.

Almost went to sleep while the Queen trudged through America the Beautiful, and the National Anthem was definately a challange for Carrie. Carrie is not to good and having to hold a note for more than a beat.

I was starting to feel alone in a world gone mad. If Big John didn't like the nosecandy so much, this would have been that much better. I don't care how old they get, they can drag Daltrey and Townshend's rotting corpses on stage, and they've got my undivided attention. Agreed the Daltrey's voice isn't what it used to be, but he loaded up on the scream on "Won't Get Fooled Again" and delivered. He's still got some miles in him. I also thought Pete's playing was as good as ever. He had some great little fills in there.

On a related note: Atlanta PBS during pledge week played an entire Who show from the Kilburn theatre in England. It was 1977,and The Loon was still on drums (and wearing a purple satin suit with silver stars on it). The show was recorded in stereo and remastered and shot with several cameras. If you want to see the best band ever at their peak and blowing the doors off the joint, check this out.

but they were booked primarily because they are seen by CBS as the CSI house band and this was basically more free advertising for their fine slate of prime time programming.
/dramatically removes glasses...(yeeeeeaaaaaaahhhh).

Now, the NFL network's use of The Arcade Fire in their promos was a surprise.

That **** was badass. Sure, they're not what they used to be, but they still rocked the house. The light show wasphenomenal as well.

Mutt probably would have enjoyed Lee Greenwood or Dolly Parton better. Wholesome.

Other than being near seventy years old, there was nothing wrong with that show. They played all the songs that needed to be played. Sure, they are not what they used to be but they were far from "suck"
